Well I guess I can't really help myself. I'm enjoying drawing with purple.
Part of the reason I always draw on tones other than white is because I like to draw on this peachy creamy tone to operate as a fleshtone that I can put white on top of and bring out super bright moments, the sparkles and wetness that I really enjoy adding to drawings.
One thing that I enjoy about digital media is being able to play with luminosity of colors. This pink is way hotter than the brightness of this cream paper would actually allow, so it makes this kinda wacky optical feeling like the cream color is kinda cold and warm at the same time depending on where you look .
I keep thinking back to the photo study I did and those moments where there's a lot of reflective light at the intersection of forms between legs or breasts and how hot the color gets. I'm gonna try to keep isolating that bit just to see what it feels like on its own.
What will that achieve? Maybe nothing. I have no idea :) But I'm curious.
<3 Hope you all have a great holiday, thanks as always for supporting my work
