I wanted to give her at least two outfits. :) I still am not sure about the final color palette of the comic but I'm pretty sure it'll be mostly monochromatic no matter what to keep things easy, and to be honest I'm not even sure I'll have two tones.
I'm pretty sure this is the brush I'll be using for the comic, it's a bit of a bleedy mess that reminds me of drawing wtih a fountain pen, but ti also can creat these real crisp, fine lines. I guess in a way it's just a softer variation on the brush I was using for Fitting for a Lady.
Maybe a dark shade and a 50% halftone might be the way to go. I've got roughs for the first 8 pages now and I'm planning to get some inked pages your way within a couple days π Stay tuned!
