Wednesday Miscellaneous Update
Added 2023-01-12 00:53:48 +0000 UTCI was hoping to have a more definitive, complete update with lots of really solid finished things but what I have to share today is a lot of bits and pieces.
1. An Ancient Greek lady!
2. A endsheet pattern for Little Bird's bath that steps a biiit out of the endsheet format that the other books have but I wanted to do something kinda fancy to complement the design/borders of that book. Also I was very inspired by this design from Ivan Bilibin's illustrated "The Golden Cockerel." 😏 I should be making a book called The Golden Cockerel.
3. BOOKS. These are my last proofs I'm doing to make sure I didn't miss anything weird, confirm the colors are coming out right, etc. and then I'll be on to shooting photos and updating gumroad!
4. A little WIP of Page 12 of Libby & Holly
5. This is nothing new but just an old illustration I found of Marianne and Penny while putting together the books. Part of doing this process of adding more pages and endsheets is that I get to add more of the "artbook" type sketches and illustrations to the back of each book, basically an expanded pinup section. It's been fun and I think it makes them feel more full and rewarding to look through. Especially because Auto Pilot and some of my earlier stories are pretty short.
I should have more bigger updates through the rest of the week on physical comics and my other projects I wanted to get to this month, so thank you for being patient! 💖

2023-01-12 18:13:26 +0000 UTCI'm self publishing which is probably the biggest part of why it takes so long, because publishing is not something I'm very practiced at. I am going to stay at like a zine level of publishing too- they're printed but they don't have registered ISBN numbers or anything like that. Partially because I don't need Nintendo's lawyers knocking down my door but also just because this is the scale I can manage right now! I can publish things on gumroad for their lax policy on nsfw stuff but I've looked into publishing comics on Amazon ebooks and it seems like things have to stay strictly softcore for that market as long as it's visual and not prose. :(
