Malon's Hayloft
Added 2023-03-23 21:40:23 +0000 UTCI had the notion that I needed to try to reuse the lighting scheme from the Malon sketch I did earlier in the month. Her hair is a little less wild in this version, which might be a bit of a loss, but this time I had the excuse to put in a bunch of dusty bits of straw floating around. I like to image Malon doesn't have allergies.
This is also another chance for me to express my love of Bernie Wrightson's Frankenstein illustrations 😂 Tonally a weird, unrelated reference point to Malon, but in terms of beautiful illustrations involving beds of hay, it's exactly on point.
