Added 2024-02-19 19:19:46 +0000 UTCBefore ATEEZ was sailing the virtual ocean as pirates and gaining millions of fans across the globe they were a part of "KQ Fellaz'' a pre-debut team of trainees under KQ entertainment which is of course the label that created ATEEZ.
During their time as trainees, the artists who are now a part of ATEEZ began uploading small vlogs showing their journey to connect with fans and build up hype.
Obviously, this was a good strategy since ATEEZ has now become a hugely successful group and that's why diving into these vlogs is super interesting for us and anyone else who wants to learn more about these talented young artists.

About living together… Ateez has it better than most K-pop groups. KQ has always been good to them. They have an unlimited food budget, they don’t have a lot of the rules that other group have like dating bans (although they do a goood job at gatekeeping themselves 😊), getting tattoos, etc. They are treated like the adults/people they are. Except the whole jumping ban thing… Also, as they’ve gained success, they’ve been upgraded to better living situations. Comparing their apartment they just moved from to the ones I’ve seen other boy groups have, theirs was NICE. And they have Seonghwa keeping them in line about cleaning daily (the refrigerator notes are legendary) and a weekly cleaning lady that they adore, so the apartment was always spotless. (If you want to be amused, watch a compilation on boy group dorms/apartments… looking at you TXT, WayV, and Stray Kids with your trash curtain thing. lol Now they are in three separate, nice apartments and have their own rooms. Seonghwa and Hongjoong used to room together so Seonghwa always looked out for Hongjoong, but now that they live in separate apartments, it is really funny. Seonghwa’s room looks like something out of Pinterest with his Stars Wars and Lego collections in their lighted display cases, while Hongjoong’s is just a bed with clothes often piled up on it.

2024-03-19 22:35:43 +0000 UTCThank You for the reaction!! I can answer some questions lol. This was early 2018 like springtime, ATEEZ did not debut until October 2018. This trip gave us our 3 beloved and viral KQ Fellaz dance videos, Valen is correct! They also filmed the MV for "From" which is the song from the show opening. You will see them working on that in later episodes . Yes ATEEZ lives together full time still hahaha! Like you said in the beginning a lot of the time it's for money-saving reasons but they are doing VERY well now!! They used to share rooms too but last year they moved into new dorms! They are split into THREE apartments and each has their own rooms now so it's all good haha. The members have their own personal space now but with a group as busy as they are it only makes sense to have them all in a similar place/area so I think it will be like that for a while, so no longer for money but convenience. It is pretty normal for groups to live together for a while, some groups move into their own places alone and some live with family or even with another member, I think because in Asia people do not normally leave their family home until they are married it is a bit different than for a lot of us who that live in countries that just move out when they adults. It is normally up to them if they have the finances. One member said the other day he missed when they were all in the same house lol. They def have had fights and arguments lmao because it's natural and they're close now not just like friends but like family, they have told funny stories about fights before and also their first impressions of each other when they met as trainees. About them choosing to go to LA like Valen said it's not unheard of but it's a big big cost to do what KQ did, but KQ has never been scared to spend money on ATEEZ. They risked it all to debut them and train them, they had to step out on faith, and as we see it has paid off. KQ spent money they didn't even have to take care of them and get them what they needed, beyond how much it cost to get them to LA, I am always in shock they took ATEEZ and an entire film/hair/makeup crew all the way to AFRICA for their debut MV's. ATEEZ is super blessed to have such a great company, they grew together. I'm glad y'all have liked my suggestions so far!
