Here's your exclusive first look at the full-page version of this week's Evil Inc — and this week, it features a new feature... we're beta-testing an improved viewing experience for mobile users.
NOTE: I'm already seeing that Patreon may be displaying the panels in the wrong order for some users. I'll say on top of that with Patreon's Support team.
Patreon now supports posts with multiple images. Creators can now upload several images to the post, which are then opened in a swipeable gallery by mobile users. (Desktop users will have a similar experience, but they'll use arrows to navigate the gallery.)
What that means is that I can now upload a panel-by-panel reading experience for users to navigate through. For desktop users, it's not a big deal. But for those of you reading Evil Inc on mobile devices, this is big.
Here's how it works for mobile users: I'll upload the full page as usual. It will be the first (and perhaps only) image you see on the post. All you have to do is open the post (tap the image) and a gallery will appear on your screen. Path through the posts by swiping your finger sideways across the screen. You will be able to navigate through the comic panel by panel.
Desktop users: Today's panels may look a little out of focus for you. That will be the case for these b&w previews due to the way I prep them. When I replace the preview with the full-color version, I will replace the b&w previews with full-resolution color panels as well.
Note: This feature in all of 48 hours old. I fully expect a few hiccups, and we'll handle them as they arise.
