Evil Inc After Dark #38, Page 2

The "Miss Star" story continues! You can also read it on the Evil Inc After Dark website where it's optimized for both desktop and mobile reading.

Squashing bugs

Speaking of the new site, I passed along the excellent information you collected about some of the difficulties a few people have had accessing the Patreon-only parts of the Evil Inc website. Here's what my developer said:

It may be a browser specific issue that is causing the  issue. I would try a couple of things. Clearing out the browser's cache and then try logging in again. If that doesn't work, if they have any Chrome extensions or Firefox Add-ons installs, I would disable them and see if that helps.

He went on to say that ad blockers would be his most-likely guess. If you try this, please don't hesitate to report back.

Also, I'm learning that each of the sites require you to log into them individually. (For example, after signing-in to EiAD, you can't just jump to the Courting Disaster subsite without signing-in a second time.)

That... may be a problem that my vision for the site caused. I liked the idea of each of these projects to have their own "home" — and their own unique reading experience. For example, EiAD has an eBook experience for desktop users, and the Commissions have a continuous scroll of content.

In the months to come, I can also envision a subsite for things like the bonus comics, Cape Carnival, etc.

Let me know what you think. Is the trouble of logging in to each site worth the fine-tuned reading experience? I'm going to be making tweaks — large and small — for the rest of the year, and I'm very interested in your thoughts moving forward.

OK, Boomer

During the previous update, I said...

With a hat tip to backer John Wignall, who suggested "Boomer," I'm happy to reveal that our seasoned supervillain is named H-Bomber. That may not make sense just yet, but it will.

...and now, hopefully, it does. I couldn't resist playing with "OK, Boomer" given the age difference between the characters.

Comments

My immediate takeaway was that H-Bomber has a daughter who looks like Miss Star, and that Miss Starr has had sufficient opportunity to study and compare his daughter's tits.

My forte!

It’s been too long since I did a pregnancy scene, hasn’t it? 🙂

Brad Guigar

Not in the least. 🙂

Brad Guigar

I’m glad you liked that! 🙂

Brad Guigar

I’ve got a neat idea in mind for this story. I think you’re gonna like it.

Brad Guigar

Thank you! That comes from years of —er— study

When the “Boomer” name was suggested, “OK, Boomer” popped into my head and I just worked backwards from there to get to the punchline. Plus, an H-Bomb is a suitably dated reference, so it all fell into place nicely!

Brad Guigar

Ah, a fellow connoisseur! Indeed, there’s a lot of Gabbie Carter inspiration there!

Brad Guigar

Brad -- you have a most exceptional grasp on drawing the idealized female form. Yowser!

Great Scott

I loved the "Okay Boomer" line, and I especially loved that he didn't get it. --Tlaero

Tora Productions

Part of me wants the heroine to actually be older than him bu because of her powers she ages slowly but because of the way she looks it’s just easier for her to act young.

Kyle Voltti

Do I sense some Gabbie Carter inspiration there?

Jokes in panels 4 and 5 are great.

Michael

I didn't get in the first comic the age disparity; I see it now. Thankfully, our matured villain isn't going to let a few years get in the way of the action!

Michael Obert

Hopefully Miss Starr is on birth control, otherwise she'll be called "mommy" before too long.

Mr. Nobody

Delightfully cheesy :P
