[COMIC]🍊Miho's origin story PART 2(13 PAGES) + bonus concept doodles

Holy shit.....!!!! These last 4 pages took me AGES. 😭😭 I'm sorry they took longer! I've been trying to work diligently, but my wrist was starting to hurt, so I took a couple of days to just rest... I hope you all understand 🙏💖

Some lore... Miho keeps a journal. She often writes her thoughts on it, but writes other things in them too, like recipes, and step-by-steps on how to create certain things... like knives! Something Cynthia had a passion for(although she came from a family that mostly prided themselves in making kitchenware). 

In this comic, she is reading(out loud) a letter she wrote to Cynthia by the tree she'd hang out with her from time to time. It was a special place for Miho, since it was peaceful and pretty. This is also where Miho would be able to talk to Cynthia more one-on-one when she'd need advice on something or want to vent. Miho will often visit this spot when she wants to speak to Cynthia.

I will now begin to work on the official comic... I underestimated how long it'd take to begin working on it... so for now, I'll just be giving updates while I prep it a little more :,,) I already got some of it planned, but I want to write a little more before I start officially drawing it. Updates until then will consist of mini comics and other pieces (SFW + NFSW)

Hey barbies! I finished the next 3 pages! Art block and the summer heat have really been trying to come for my productivity this month... but I prevailed!

I'm almost done with part 2! AHHHH 4 more pages! My slowness is due to working on two separate projects at the same time... I still can't announce the other one, but as soon as I can, I will! It's exhausting work, but fun! I hope you guys like this comic so far~ <3 <3 Thank you so much for your patience and support!!!!!

Hey everyone!! Sorry, I've been silent most of the month... I wasn't sitting around doing nothing, I promise! 😭 This comic just took the absolute LONGEST to plan out, not only for the comic itself, but for the over-arching story in general. This part of the story is important for Miho's character- hence the origin story bit, but I had a lot of ideas for how it'd go and I went through different routes a lot until I finally landed on and stuck to this one. (I'll talk more about the story in this one once all pages are posted)

You probably noticed this is only 3 pages... well actually it's not over yet. Part two has a total of 13 pages, and in order to not burn myself out and also not keep you guys in the dark for too long, I decided I'll be posting 3 pages at a time- as I go.

I hope you guys don't mind this! This is basically what I'll be doing for the main story once I start working on it (aiming to start it after I finish this comic and another secret project I've been working on that I'll talk about later!).

I'm sooo excited, nervous, and a little scared to start working on the first issue! AAAHHH We're almost there, y'all. I can't believe it 😭

Anyways, enough rambling. I hope you guys will enjoy the story! I'll be aiming to post the next 3 pages by(or hopefully before) next Friday!

I included the doodles I did for Miho's look in this comic- and Jifeng's at the time as well(that one was just for fun since he won't appear in part 2 LOL)
