Either the “life everlasting” part is more on the lines of “afterlife”, or the immortality has a bit of a price on the part of Sobek. Either way, there’s gonna be trouble. Also, love how he thinks it’ll end up working out in his favor down the road. I’m suddenly picturing Miss Match having him locked up in a deep, dark cell somewhere and spending centuries burning him alive again and again. And, of course, he thinks she’s being kinky. Whadda dope...
