SAO Alternative was written by a gun otaku (person obsessed with guns) so you'll see many overly detailed descriptions, but this was what made it so popular that it got made into a novel and eventually an anime. I'm a huge fan of SAO, but I don't really like the animes tbh, but this one I really liked, a self contained story with a proper ending, I hope you like it.
