Awww that is such a emotional detail. It's so touching that everyone in SHINee are still regularly paying homage to Jonghyun. It must have been like losing a close family member :(

I would also recommend you to check Onew's Flow album it's was just announced as #7 billboard best Album for 2024. His Album circle was #1 billboard Album for 2023. Onew's, Jonghyun and Key's Album will show you new dimension of Shinee's soloist.

Once you get more into Key solo, you will realize how different their styles in music are. I agree, their content deserve more views. Maybe because they have older fandom?. They also have other videos with hundred thousands or millions views, so its quite random. No worries, It was said that SHINee was one of the highest earning group last year in SM (not including their solo stuff). So youtube views does not say much about public interest on them, especially in Korea and Japan.

If you are curious, you can find a few collaboration stage of EXO and SHINee or a stage where EXO covering SHINee song. It was very common for SM idols to do collaboration or cover each other songs. In NCT Universe: Lastart (a survival show for the last nct unit/NCT wish), the missions were for them to cover their sunbae songs like TXVQ, Super Junior, SHINee, EXO, and NCT. It was super hard but they did well (I highly recommend this show for NCT reaction if one day you got into NCT WISH) A little funfact about kpop idols dance, originally having complicated dance was not common for the first and second gen idols because they focused more on singing. Then SHINee came with Sherlock which was seen as a very advanced dance for that time (thats why it was stated as the most expensive coreo in deep dive). Their dance practice even got leaked and went viral. Since then idols started to upload their dance practice video and try to present more complicated dance perfomance for their songs. Then, they got everybody and it went viral again because of the "robotic" style of the dance.

No hate to Minho but it shows great respect to his profession and to his love to his craft and the thing is SHINee has no arrogance they are humble men who always strive to improve. They always see room for improvement and don't settle for their title. They fight to keep it lol.

2024-12-07 03:05:55 +0000 UTCSHINee having Jonghyun for the vocals made Taemin who isnt exactly in the vocal line originally glowed up to the point that he is now at main vocal level and also minho who is now covering the main vocals lines. Same goes with dancing. SHINee having Taemin as THE dancer made the other members step up and keep up with him like Onew who havent danced in his entire life before debuting which made Key not expecting to debut in the same group with him. Maybe Minho said that he is not a good dancer bc the bar is just too high with Taemin even though they are actually good/great dancers and takes pride with their dancing because as Onew said "they are SHINee." As someone who always has my eyes on Taemin when it comes to dancing, it is ALWAYS Minho that's stealing my attention on choreos. He has such fucking beautiful lines when he is dancing. Not to mention that when SHINee members dance with other groups, you'll know who is SHINee from a mile away.

2024-12-07 02:26:36 +0000 UTCduring 'everybody' performance when minho rotates his arms and send a kiss to the sky is because that was the part of the choreography when him and jonghyun interacted. Ever since, he's been doing that during everybody and also sending kisses to the sky during 'view' when he sings jonghyun's part. in this perfomance onew is missing as well to this song i fully recommend you guys to watch the version with the five of them, it's so powerful!
