Yes, people pay to attend these award shows. I was fortunate to be able to go myself while visiting Japan. My ticket was 22,000 yen or about $140 US. It took place in a dome venue so probably 40 - 55k people in the audience. Maybe smaller since fukuoka might have a smaller dome. Definitely worth the cost as 8 or 9 groups performed that day.

2025-01-18 15:44:24 +0000 UTCi don't understand theo's obsession with hybe xd they're not the one's who use autotune the most, in fact i would say that hybe idols are the ones who always try to show their live vocals and most of the times raw. Even if they're not perfect they do it, it's getting so normalized to say hybe idols can't sing when they're the ones who do it live the most idk i find it hilarious. great reaction;) and abt the le sserafim situation, they're great live singers but ofc for kpop stans 12 sec video of the end of a 45 min performance entirely raw with insane choreos is enough to say they suck. yunjin and chaewon are literally ones of the best vocalists of their gen it's so frustrating le sserafim have been singing live since debut literally with no backtrack and with the hardest gg choreos, kpop stans and they're obsession to lie abt hybe groups talent's pmo xd
