They are like 10 or 11 I think? I could kinda see it being a realistic thing in these years (because of the internet having existed for 20+ years already). I have cousin who is in elementary school, and she says weird af random shit, so I assume that's the norm these days due to internet. No idea what year Illya etc are supposed to be in, but given their shittyass looking phones etc, it can't be that far from 2000's... BTW, S2 has my favorite OP for this series. The singer's voice is so nice in the beginning 10 or so S
