Well from what is said in the show is that it becomes less and less common each generation and by Deku's generation it's considered extremely rare. The 20% is likely mostly made up of people of the generation before Deku and the generations before them. So for example maybe in Deku's age group that is currently between 10-20 is't more like 99% have a quirk, in the age group 20-30 it's 95%, 30-40 it's 85%, 40-50 it's 80%, 50-60 it's 65% etc. majority of currently living quirk less people would be elderly. Also we are in a hero school and watching the world of heroes, it's natural that we wouldn't encounter quirk less people as they are usually civilians. That said even considering all of that there are at least 4 confirmed quirk less named and relatively important characters that were born quirk less in the show. 3 of them even of Deku's age.

Instead of rolling your eyes, you should call it out as wrong and try to stop it. It's disgusting behavior and putting someone like that in a show made for teenage boys and not having that character suffer any consequences for his actions is teaching the audience that this behavior is something to be tolerated, not stopped.

2024-07-31 09:02:03 +0000 UTCIf he can cause that much air pressure by just flicking his fingers you can imagine how over kill it would be if he punched Shinso with it. Most of the time he's punching the air instead of the enemy. Unless they're extremely durable, he'd be redecorating the area with what's left of their body. Probably not suitable for a sports event.
