FREE Map Launch - The Canal

I wanted to add in a different element into the city streets and a canal/river with bridge seemed like a fun addition. You'll also find a small square to the south with a pie and pickled eel stall, tasty!

I'm planning on creating a series of these maps which should fit together into a giant city map in the end [EDIT] This project was not continued, read my response in the comments as to the reasoning. The Market Street map I created last week should fit above this one (with a minor edit from me, their is a tree I need to remove). Going forward I'll try to create one new section of this map each month. Of cause you can use these maps separately, I just thought it would be fun to try to create something cool, and a giant city battle map seems to fit :)

Hi Killin. Good question! Just after I finished these maps I updated my style just enough that fitting together these original maps with my new maps wouldn't work anymore, or I'd have to recreate them in my updated style. It was just not very viable to continue with the concept. I also found that it limited the layout and themes of the new map sections, so in the end, I decided to just make city maps in a similar style, but that didn't directly connect. It's a shame as I liked the concept but it just didn't work out how I wanted it to.
