I know this is a year old so you probably wont see this, but just FYI a helmet is literally FOR those times that freak accidents happen, so that you are protected in the rare case that you get rocked by a car or something else. Just mentioning that because you made it sound like they are only for daredevils. I also hate wearing them though, but hey, they save lives so it's probably worth it. :)
