Like Father, Like Son

Bubba's son, Luther, really takes after his old man. Heck, he's even heavier than Bubba was back when he played college ball. The season has barely begun and he's already broken his record of players flattened from last season. Of course, Bubba couldn't be more proud. Bubba taught him all his moves (verbally and through old film. Bubba has not moved like that in decades). Bubba doesn't miss a single game and of course, he takes the opportunity to bleed the stadium's food supply dry. It's just a shame that no stadium has seating rated for men his size.

A somewhat different kind of piece. I've acknowledged that Bubba has kids and even did a big Fathers day drawing years ago. But I don't know if folks find it weird that Bubba has children or not. This piece didn't start as this. Was originally just going to have Luther flattening some poor(lucky) players, but I liked the visual of Luther on the field side by side with his dad cheering him on the stands facing one another. I hope you all enjoy that visual too. I also appreciate an opportunity to draw Bubba when he's an older man.
