Their relationship is not one of romance, it's a pimp/prostitute type of arrangement. Ava is unable to fully process the dangerous path she's on because she's distracted by the attention she's receiving from Quint and random men.
Ava does become a little reluctant and starts to wonder if she's making the right choices. (Chad and Ava are separated to divorce but she's still a mother). Quint reassures her that she's safe with him. The reassurance from Quint makes her feel heard, sexy and safe. Causing her to take her lust and kink for bbc to new heights. Sneak peeks 2 and 3 will post before the comic video is released on the 15th of February.
