What changed?
Previously, Patreon charged all of you the first day of each month.
That meant that if you subscribed at the end of the month, you would only be able to enjoy the benefits of your subscription for a few days before having to pay again the first day of the following month. In other words, you used to be unfairly charged because you had to pay two times in a span of a few days the first time you subscribed.
Normally, users aware of this issue would wait till the next month to subscribe.
Now you don't have to wait or be unfairly charged anymore!
From now on you will be billed on the same date you subscribed and you will be able to enjoy the benefits of your subscription for the next 30 days. That means that if you subscribed on September 28th you will be billed again on October 28th. This is what everyone expects when subscribing to any service or platform.... Well... better late than never :)
This change is permanent. We are not allowed to go back to the old system.
