Upcoming Hiatus and Future Changes

As you guys know, I'm a full time college student. I'm entering my senior year this quarter and we're starting our year-long final project. For the next two and half months, I'll be consumed in that and other classwork, so I won't be able to get the rewards out to you all. I've got a huge backlog already of Patreon and commission work that I'm slowly getting through (48 pieces right now, potentially becoming about 70 in April.) I don't want to fall anymore behind than this, so until I can catch up, I'm putting Patreon on hiatus.

During the hiatus, I'll have the pledges paused, so no one will be charged until I come back. I'll still be active on my DeviantArt page ( http://xjio.deviantart.com/ ), posting commissions and finished sketches as I finish them. I won't be able to post the monthly sketches and Tier Rewards here while the pledges are paused, but I'll keep a journal tracking my progress on dA, and when the hiatus is over, I'll mass dump everything here that I haven't posted, all at once. (If you want to see a piece before I dump it, send me a note on dA.)

The hiatus will also apply to commissions. Beyond the commissions I'm negotiating now, commissions will be closed until I've caught up as well.

The hiatus will start in April, so I'll be sending messages to the $10+ Tier Patrons asking for April rewards soon. I'll also ask for character suggestions for April sketches in another post soon as well.

When I come back, I'll be changing how the Patreon is run. As it is now, the more Patrons I get on higher Tiers, the harder it is for me to keep delivering every month. The number of pieces I have to do continues to increase, and my time to do them is decreasing as I get closer to graduating. It's getting to be really hard on me, but I'm trying my best not to burn out.

I'm thinking of releasing a mixture of fully finished pictures and sketches, and you'd have access to them at the $5 Tier. I might turn the upper Tiers ($10+) into request streams like Meru or ZeeRageMan does, and simplify the Tiers. I'd try raffles as well, but they're against Patreon rules. If anyone has any other suggestions for reward systems, I'd love to hear them. ^^
