Monday Update - Addiction Poll Results & Thank You

Below, we can see the accumulated votes for the path that addiction content should take. Interestingly, the vote was heavily in favor of addiction content being added. However, the two options for how that content would shape up were extremely close.

As seen here, Option 2b (modifying Scorpion's scenes to focus on dosing Silk) ended up barely winning by 1 vote. Pretty impressive margins! As such, that is the path that we will be taking forward with Scorpion's revamped scenes.

However, it is not lost on me -just how close- this vote was. In the spirit of collaboration, I will try to keep it at a "best of both worlds" approach. In other words, Scorpion's scenes will focus on dosing, but shouldn't feel massively different from what we currently have in game. Additionally, I may retain Scorpion's gameover if I can find a way to write it that doesn't undermine the other addiction content.

In other news, I wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you to Patrons and Subscribers alike. We recently passed a huge milestone; collectively making $300/month across both platforms! This is an amazing vote of confidence from our growing community in our projects and I can't wait to continue!

As I've stated before, every single dollar we make from Patreon and SubscribeStar goes exclusively towards improving the game. If we are so lucky to reach the $500/month milestone, the game will finally break even at our current development pace! That said, anything more than that lofty goal will still go straight to improving the game. There are so many things that I would love to eventually add. More art, clothing, voice acting, animations, sound fx, music, and so on. The sky truly is the limit!

That's all I have for now! For those who have played the most recent update: work has already begun on the next. For those who are still patiently waiting, the $3/month and $5/month Patreon/SubscribeStar tiers will gain access on Thursday, July 31st! After that, the public version will go live on Thursday, August 7th. Once the public version drops, I'll begin dropping teasers for the next update.
