Development Update #4

Hello! Hope you're doing well, 'cause we're coming with a progress update for our next 0.2 build! 😊

For this version, we're creating the most important thing in the game, the core feature that will determine everything about its gameplay - the Attributes System.

What is the Attributes System?

The attribute system makes the character alive. It'll soon be implemented for the survival system too.
After it's done we'll be able to make and easily change/balance stuff like: 

- Needs (Hunger, Thirst, Toilet, Arousal, etc.)
- Effects (Dirtiness, Lipstick, Wetness, Lactating, Drunk, etc.)
- Perks (Flasher, Sprinter, Cum bank, etc.)
- Cloth attributes (Durability, Revealing, Water resistance, Warmth, etc.)
- Cloth tags (College Uniform, Bondage, Casual, Visible_Nipples, etc.)
- Character visuals (eyebags because of tiredness or blush because of arousal, etc.)
- Items that can restore needs, give buffs/debuffs

To get a better perspective, let's see how this will work with an example:

Alisa's coming from a forest after a quest. She's Tired and Thirst'y. She sees a bar far away and heads there. But the weather changes, it starts raining, so her clothes become Wet, and her Dirtiness gets removed. That means some clothes got transparent, cause they didn't have Water Resistance, thus, her nipples are shown to everyone, but she still goes there without hesitation, cause she had a good time doing Exhibitionism a while ago and earned the Flasher perk, so she doesn't receive any Stress doing it. She enters the bar and talks to a barman asking for a drink. Alisa forgot she didn't have any money, but due to her increased Sexiness and Visible Nipples she convinces the bartender to give her a drink. This drink is a 2-liter beer bottle, which she drinks and gets Boozed effect, while also satisfying her Thirst and increasing Mood. Even her cheeks start to Blush. Everything seems to go well, but she's already terribly Tired. Will she try to go home, or sleep on the floor? Your choice.

Yeah... Sounds a bit too complex for a porn game, right? 😁

But we truly believe this is what will make Deluded unique.

Content

• Some events and interactions in the house (no spoilers... sry)
• New clothing (Moving difficulties quest)

Already done:

• ~70% of dialogues for 11 interactions (3-4 sex scenes included), 2 events (1 sex scene included), 2 quests  
• ~85% of animations for new quests/events/interactions

Technical Stuff

• Vagina deformation animations

Here you can see the labia move with Alisa's fingers

• Movement system overhaul (much more responsive)
• Female facial animation overhaul

Here are some variations. Looks a bit quirky 😅 

• Added delayed gameplay mechanics - some events now can be triggered not immediately, but after a certain amount of time
• Cutscenes loading has been made multithreaded (no freezes on their load anymore)
• Memory optimization tools/profilers
• Integrated new physics engine for body/hair

Pay close attention to her hair, butt, thighs and pussy here. Later we'll implement the same physics engine for skirts

Some Bug Fixes and QoL improvements

• Grass clipping through the floor 
• Stuck in cutscenes if click too fast 
• Grinding attributes through dialogue 
• Too dark cemetery location 
• FOV was too high when running (fisheye) 
• Present reflection in the mirror stayed after you clean it 
• The lighting on the character was flickering/abruptly changing 
• The quest panel in the HUD (right) was not updating correctly 
• House's door is now not closing/opening in front of your face
  

• Added 2k+ resolution support 
• Added the ability to scroll through active quests with MMB

That's all, guys! The team's working every day on this new release, but we can't promise the exact release date. We now have to deal with some legal stuff (nothing serious!) which slows down the development. After this, we'll be able to hire people! Let's hope this won't take too long...
