Weekly Update

The next update for Lust Epidemic is 1 day ahead of schedule! I'm trying to get well ahead of schedule because I plan on making some game mechanic updates which will require lots of testing and I'll need time to make sure everything works the way it should. It's easier to overlook things than you might think, so having at least 1 full day dedicated to testing is a must.
The new update will see Amber with her 2nd outfit which has been put together based on poll responses as well as Amanda's, who will get her first alternate outfit.
Creating alternate outfits has required me to be very organized with my file structures and processes. Even though new outfits require re-rendering scenes, I've got a good process down so it's actually not too difficult. The problem though, if I go too crazy with alt outfits, the file size of the game would get insane.
I've done the math, and with the shit-ton of animations I want to do in the game, the file size will be several gigs by the time I've made all the scenes I want to make. Eventually, I want to look into more sophisticated ways to update the game instead of literally re-downloading the whole game every time. I'm sure I can come up with something. Ideas welcome!

2018-10-16 17:30:37 +0000 UTCI was just thinking that outfits could be treated as patch files that extract to a copy of the game that is outfit-free and you just download the outfits you like. But that is a problem for the future. The next update will only be about 1 gig, which is still manageable.

Honestly, I rather have a "shit-ton" of animations over multiple outfits for each female character. Balance is key young Padawan. :-)
