I think I screwed up. I took 4 broken key segments and crafted a chest key but now I don't have 2 broken key segments to craft a pirate key to get the tikpak artifact in the cave with the ship

The folder is hidden. You need to unhide your folders. You can Akzo get there by typing %localuserdata%

Im trying to skip ahead since all my files were deleted somehow and when I got to look for user data nothing comes up. Is there any other way? I'm also using Winrar

lower right side... but that key is an extra one you dont need right now. So maybe in the next update it will work. But as far as I know you're the only one who can't pick it up. It appears to be working fine.

i found two more broken keys so i have enough for a chest key. maybe there isn't a broken key on the right side of the tomb? It's on a brown floor, but it sure looks like one.

I downloaded the game again. I can see the broken key, but it just wont pick up. Tried it from the front and the right. Everything else works fine except picking up the broken key.

There shouldn't be anything stopping you form picking it up. Try clicking "Verify Install" on the launcher to see if that fixes it.

I found the broken key in the tomb, but it wont let me pick it up. Is this a software issue or is there a new requirement for picking one up?

yes....I download, double click the zip file to un-pack it, then the 'game' shows up. when I double click that to open it I get this message. "the app 'game' can't be opened"....then a little -47. (thought that might be an error code, but I'm not a computer guy. the version that I am downloading is the "Mac v.60113"...and I've tried it from both the main an mirror sights.

Everything appears to be working on my test machine. So when you download and double click the ZIP file does it decompress the file and show 'Game'? Can you explain exactly what's happening?

I am downloading the Mac version (full) and I've dowloaded it from both the main and the mirror sites....I was running the last version v. 58111 just fine....this one I can't get to open up or work

If you're using the launcher, make sure you've updated to version .60115. If you're using the ZIPs, reupdate your game. A patch has been added and now there are 2 broken keys past the jaguar instead of just one.

I found directions on how to position the rocks and trap the snakes to go through, the issue I am having is once I reposition the rocks, I cannot get around them fast enough to avoid getting bitten

You can build a chest key from fragments. This update contains 2 extra fragments even after you've used all you need.

Every new version of the game contains all the content of the previous verisons. It's also not possible to skip. The game would throw an error if you skipped an update.

What's frustrating is knowing right where the page is, and not being able to get it because you can't find a key, or enough broken keys to open the chest.

It almost sounds like the one time uses do not and will not appear in the chest. Like the pickaxe for example

When I purchased the chest I just expected all the scrolls I had found would be there but it did not turn out that way and only would appear as I used them from that point forward

SO...I did find one in the new area after chasing off the jaguar but that is the first plant I have been able to find for a long while. All other plants have a specific area and are easily found.

This appears to be the case, at least for me. I know I've made a gold talisman previously, but it wasn't in the chest. I just made another, and now it is.

It seems the only ones that appear in the chest are ones you craft AFTER purchasing the chest. All those you craft before will not appear for some reason

That's my point. I'm only seeing 7 recipes in the chest. But I know I've had to craft way more than 7 unique items.

the scrolls stay in place for all reusable items even if you have the chest. They only go away for one time use items. To get a reusable item scroll in a chest you must first successfully craft it.

Do you need it for a quest? Or collecting it for the bucket? The bucket weeds are well hidden in the jungle and there are many.
