Installing the game
Online Play - (Linux, Android, Mac, PC)
Log in at nlt-media.net and click the play button for the game you wish to play.
PC - Launcher
Download the launcher at nlt-media.net and install. Log in when prompted and click the download buttons for each game you wish to install.
PC - Zip
Download the ZIP file and run game.exe. If you are updating your game, download the update files and extract them into your game's folder. If you are installing to a new folder and you do not see your save files when you load the game, move the folder called 'save' from the previous version into the new one.
Mac - Zip
Determine which file you need. M1 Macs are typically older Macs and M2 Macs are typically the newer models.
Download the game and run game.app. If you are prompted to move to to another folder, create a new folder (called SotS, or whatever you wish to call it) and move game.app into that folder. If you are updating the game, open the contents of game.app and navigate to...
Contents/Resources/app.nw/
Move the contents of the update ZIP file here to update the game's files to the new version. If you don't see your save files, and are installing to a new folder, you can grab the game saves from...
Contents/Resources/app.nw/save/
and move them to the new install folder.

Dumb question from someone new to this Patreon. Is there an Android version of Symphony of the Serpent? I don't see it available in downloads...

2025-01-13 18:05:13 +0000 UTCThat’s the whole point of 2x monthly updates. It’s short bursts versus the long play. You’re welcome to choose what option works better for you.

2025-01-11 06:39:39 +0000 UTCP.S. After several weeks of struggling to get this game working on Mac, I'm happy to say the most recent M2 download worked for me perfectly despite that my computer is from 2019 and not M2 (the M1 did not work at all). :) Thanks NLT for not forgetting us Mac users! <3

2025-01-07 00:34:57 +0000 UTCI feel like in two months since I tried to update the game again after last spring, the game has progressed quite little in terms of the story and scenes. Most of the add-ons are empty, soulless battles (that I admitted earlier I struggle with and do not enjoy in this game: I wish us no-battle-fans were given the option to skip them or choose e.g. complicated puzzles instead...). I'll wait for the next blog update, but could NLT advise us what exactly to expect in the next updates? Because I keep updating/re-downloading with high hopes, and then I'm disappointed of only getting 0.5-1.5 hours of actual game-time. I wouldn't download, if I knew that in advance, instead I'd wait a year or two and then download (= buy) the whole thing. I get why for revenue-reasons NLT has chosen this approach: but waiting for 6+ months for a mere minutes in the game? I'd rather just forget the game for a couple of years and then return to it. And this is coming from a devoted NLT fan! I love what you do, but this latest game with all its improvements/modifications (read: battles) + short story development has killed the experience for me. Maybe it's just me... so sorry, I don't want to sound to too negative as I really do love the games, usually...

2025-01-07 00:25:05 +0000 UTCCan you not just put the download on Mega or something so that I'm not spending days just trying to download a 2gb file?

2025-01-06 16:44:26 +0000 UTCI have all the previous games downloaded, however i just got the NLT launcher. Is there a way to tell the launcher where my game files are so i can launch the games form there and carry on the same saves?
