Growth Zone 0.7 Devlog #13
Added 2023-04-24 15:32:11 +0000 UTCHello everyone ! It's been quite a while since the last time. I've decided to take some time off from game development. I have a few ideas that came to me. But also a certain fear.
Correction and changes.
The 0.7 will be on Unreal engine 5.1 (previously 5.0)
I wanted to update the engine, to have additional functionality. I'm working on the issues caused by the version change.
I'm also thinking of changing some of the physical aspects of the game.
In the new version, Toy chica will no longer be buggy! This is the first thing I did. And it seems to work.
Why does it take so long to add a character?
Many people don't realise it, but adding a character from a franchise takes a lot of risk. For example, if I add Peach from Super Mario Bros, I'm taking a huge risk of getting sued for copyright (we know how strict Nintendo is on copyright). Even if the game is free, I can't use characters that don't belong to me as I want. Some owners are cool, and let it happen. But others are willing to do anything to protect their work. That's why I avoid adding Nintendo characters.
Then you have to make the animations, because I don't make them. I let my friend @PervertedGiants do it. He is very busy with his projects. I don't want to push him to burnout.
New ideas
I told you I had ideas for the game. Obviously it's easier to write and announce than to make, so I'm not 100% sure it will happen.
Story Mode: In the form of a visual novel, discover a story for each character, with erotic scenes. And of course, growth.

More Game-Modes for Tiny escape: Double trouble, Invisible
Open World: A big open world with giants walking around.
Survival mode: Build a base and survive the attacks of the giants.
