[MHCISQD] Chapter 269: The Doctor

Inside the academic building, there was no one at this moment. The five of them had directly arrived at the first-grade teacher's office.

Aizawa pointed to All Might's desk and said, "Here are the files that All Might kept together. I saw this information before I left in the morning. He said he would deliver it to the principal around noon. Judging by the timing, it should be around the same time he disappeared. If nothing happened to him, the materials should already be on the principal's desk."

"Not here."

"Huh?"

Yuriko shook her head and walked out of the office directly. "He didn't disappear here."

Nighteye, Aizawa, Yaoyorozu, and Mikoto saw Yuriko walking out, so they followed closely behind.

They went upstairs and arrived in front of the second-grade classroom's office. Finally, Yuriko's expression changed.

"Indeed, there's an unpleasant smell."

"Smell?" Mikoto curiously sniffed her nose. "I don't smell anything."

Yuriko's answer provided Aizawa and Nighteye with a lot of information.

Aizawa said, "Creating Nomu means it's the work of the League of Villains, right?"

"Not necessarily," Yuriko shook her head. "Doctor, in the true sense, isn't a member of the League of Villains. He's not even a subordinate of All For One; they are just partners. Shigaraki Tomura can't command Doctor. Moreover, this guy has even fewer boundaries and lacks humanity compared to All For One. Comparatively speaking, at least All For One spared my life; otherwise, I would have become a subject of his research and lost my life."

"So, he's a troublesome guy," Nighteye pushed his glasses and asked, "And it seems you don't know where he is, right?"

"Not just me, I doubt even All For One knows. That guy has several bases, and there's not much contact between the two of them."

Shaking her head, Yuriko said, "The scent here probably appeared before and it was the Nomu that took them away. It's a Nomu fused with teleportation and control abilities."

"A Nomu with such abilities? But why would a Nomu appear in the school? To cause destruction?" Yaoyorozu couldn't figure out the purpose of a Nomu appearing at U.A.

However, Yuriko said, "Doctor should have different types of Nomu, not just the ones focused on combat. There are Nomu capable of executing other commands. I've seen one accidentally, a very small Nomu that excels at stealth, probably involved in intelligence gathering."

Aizawa's impression of Nomu remained based on the battles he fought before, the image of highly powerful combatants. If it was only those types of Nomu, they might be manageable, but now...

"To think they can create Nomu like that, U.A. won't have any secrets for villains anymore."

"Besides strengthening our defenses, there's not much else we can do."

As Nighteye and Aizawa discussed the matter of the Nomu, Yuriko, finding no clues to be found here, also prepared to leave.

"You guys can continue waiting for him to return here. I'm leaving first."

"And just like that, she's gone without hesitation." After Yuriko left, Mikoto turned to Yaoyorozu. "Senpai, let's go and explore the festival. It's not good to keep waiting. Besides, Mei is there too. I just met her this morning, and we'll be schoolmates in the future."

"Quite the observer mindset," Aizawa sighed. "Let's go. We'll find the principal and have a cup of tea to discuss that doctor. I have a feeling that guy will cause us a lot of trouble in the future."

"Agreed."

Deep in the mountains far from Tokyo, inside a secret hideout belonging to the doctor.

"GROOO!!!"

"GRAAAA!!!"

A crack several meters long appeared in space, cutting one of the Nomu in half. Renault took a breath and looked at the five Nomu emerging once again, sneering, "Quite a number, huh?"

Doctor's voice echoed in the room. "Ah, finally willing to use that ability? I'm curious. Your genetic composition should only contain the Quirk factor for Vector Manipulation. How did this ability appear? All For One couldn't have passed on a special power to you. Did you develop it yourself?"

"You don't need to know how I got it," Renault stretching his hands, observing the approaching Nomu. "I've already defeated 25 of them. You probably don't have many left."

"That's right. These are the last few. Once you're done, you can leave. Don't even think about capturing me though. I'm not within this facility."

"Heh, looks like this time is my loss. I've given you a set of data for nothing huh."
