The research institute was not far from Ryukyu's office, and Renault quickly arrived there on his motorcycle with Hado riding along.

After getting off the motorcycle, Renault's expression seemed a bit strange.

While waiting for the arrival of the other two Pro Heroes, Renault turned to Hado and said, "I originally just wanted to find an office to gain some experience during my work study. I never expected Ryukyu to be willing to help us like this."

Hado smiled and replied, "Of course! Ryukyu is really great! If you want to repay her, you should introduce her to some guy in the future!"

"...If you say that in front of Ryukyu, she'll definitely smack you."

She was quite mischievous.

But upon careful consideration, Ryukyu wasn't young anymore. She had been a Pro Hero for several years and remained single, without any gossip about romantic affairs.

"That does make it difficult." Renault sighed. "I finally understand why so many female Pro Heroes can't find partners. Being strong isn't always an advantage, and there are still factors like personality and appearance to consider."

After chatting for a while, the other two Pro Heroes who accepted the commission arrived. Finally, the mission was about to begin.

There isn't much to say about the mission itself; everything went smoothly without any surprises. They delivered the equipment to the new research facility, and Renault and the others even helped inspect the surrounding area before confirming everything was in order. After that, they left and entrusted the security of the facility to the institute.

Even though there were no surprises, the mission ended late in the evening. By the time they returned to Tokyo, it was almost midnight.

After arriving at their starting point and finding the parked motorcycle, Renault was about to head back when Hado tugged at his sleeve.

"Renault, I'm hungry!"

"..." Renault looked at Hado and then glanced at his watch. "Senpai, it's almost 11 o'clock."

"That's why I'm hungry! We only had a bento halfway through the night. I can't hold on anymore! I want to eat yakiniku! Yakiniku!"

But after sighing, Renault realized he was also feeling hungry because of what she said.

"Forget it, it's already late anyway. Let's find a place to have some yakiniku and make it to 1 o'clock." Renault said as he hopped onto the motorcycle. He waved to Hado, whose eyes were gleaming with excitement.

After indulging in yakiniku for over two hours, the two of them finally returned to the school. Renault bid farewell to Hado, who was satisfied with the meal, and went back to his dormitory. Yaoyorozu had practically become a permanent resident in Renault's room and woke up as soon as he entered the room.

After Renault finished his shower, Yaoyorozu draped a coat over herself and poured a cup of tea for him.

"So, you had something to eat before coming back?"

"Yeah." Renault took a sip of the lukewarm water and replied, "I only had a bento box for dinner. Hado-senpai said she was hungry and wanted to have yakiniku. I was a little hungry too, so I joined her, which took some extra time."

Observing Renault's relaxed demeanor, Yaoyorozu smiled and said, "Seems like you've been getting quite close to Senpai lately."

"I suspect you're implying something." Renault pinched Yaoyorozu's cheek and retorted, "Senpai is also friends with Togata-senpai and Amajiki-senpai. Why don't you mention that? She's just naturally friendly and can get along with anyone."

"You really don't have any feelings for her?"

"None at all." Renault put down his cup, pulled Yaoyorozu onto the bed, and turned off the lights. "I've been on guard all day, driving around. I'm really tired, so let's sleep quickly. I plan to sleep the whole day tomorrow."

Yaoyorozu stopped joking around as well. She could tell that Renault was genuinely exhausted, both physically and mentally.

After tucking Renault in, Yaoyorozu leaned against his chest and whispered, "Goodnight."

After stepping aside to let Renault in, Midoriya closed the door.
