The 15 perpetrators at the scene were all Quirk users, solidifying the evidence of Quirk-related crimes. Judging from the destruction and harm they caused, it was entirely justified for Renault and the other two to directly attack and suppress them.

However, there was something more important to do before dealing with the villains—saving people.

The safety of the civilians had to be the top priority, as it was the duty of a Pro Hero.

"Oh? You didn't have that last year?"

The casual conversation between the two of them completely infuriated the villains surrounding them.

Midoriya who got covered in green lightning, charged straight at them.

Only Renault remained calm, standing still as a fist fell right in front of him.

A series of collision sounds occurred. Renault remained completely unscathed, but three individuals coming from the opposite direction were all sent flying.

These were just a group of unknown small fries, and their Quirks were nothing special. Raising his right hand, a smiling tornado slowly appeared and gradually grew in size.

"W-We don't belong to any organization. We just gathered spontaneously," the man swallowed nervously and quickly replied. Feeling the chilling intensity in Renault's eyes, he had no courage to hide anything.

At that moment, sparks started to appear from the equipment the man was wearing—a vest that enhanced his heat-based Quirk—followed by a puff of smoke, rendering it useless. The same happened to the equipment of the other three individuals.

"Hmm?" Renault glanced at the equipment on the man and immediately recognized it as low-quality goods, nowhere near comparable to the legitimate support company equipment on the market. It had been rendered useless after just one battle.

"Where did you get this equipment from?"

"From... from the black market."

"Black market..."

Renault looked at the man and decided not to pursue further questions. However, he felt it necessary to investigate the black market; there seemed to be some issues involved.

It was still unclear whether these people were just small fry or hidden dangers lurking in the darkness.
