Renault, upon realizing that Ryukyu wouldn't leave even after sitting down, could only ask, "Did you come alone?"

"Of course, this bar is owned by my friend. She had something to do, so I hung out alone and coincidentally ran into you."

Ryukyu seemed quite familiar with the bartender here. After gesturing, the bartender skillfully prepared a drink for her.

"Because it's quite different from your usual demeanor. As a junior colleague working in my office and an up-and-coming talent, I naturally pay more attention to you." Ryukyu said with a smile. "So, tell me, did you get dumped by your girlfriend?"

"It's not that extreme. It's just some personal reasons, and I've already sorted things out. I came here just to relax," Renault shrugged, taking a final gulp from the beer bottle and letting out a satisfied sigh.

He truly didn't intend to get drunk. If he did, he wouldn't have settled for just beer. There were stronger alcoholic options available that could actually get him intoxicated.

Ryukyu also understood this. Renault had already consumed several bottles, yet he showed no signs of being drunk. It was evident that he had a good alcohol tolerance. Most Pro Heroes had decent drinking abilities, and beer, with its lower alcohol content, couldn't intoxicate them.

Ordering another bottle of alcohol, Renault continued, "And you know what, Ryukyu? Because you came over here, those people who had intentions towards me didn't dare to approach at all."

"Oh? So you've noticed." Ryukyu responded with a playful smile, glancing sideways at Renault's rear.

Of course, Renault knew.

Even though he was seated the whole time, he was well aware of the happenings in the bar, especially the elder sisters behind him, who weren't too far away. Their obvious glances were perceptible to him.

Moreover, with the lighting inside the bar and the reflections on the beer bottles, he could pick up on these cues.

Renault continued, saying, "At first, I thought it would be a bit boring to drink alone, and I wanted to see if anyone would come and strike up a conversation with me. And when I noticed someone did, I was really excited you know... And then, you showed up."

"It seems that it's my fault then..." Ryukyu said with a helpless look at Renault. "Be careful, or I might remember your words and tell your girlfriend."

"I don't, but I'm sure your schoolmates do."

This big sister was truly tough, and she seemed capable of anything.

At that moment, Ryukyu's mood plummeted, and she started drinking faster.

Renault, on the other hand, was pleased with the situation. Nobody was bothering him, and having an attractive big sister by his side was enough to please his eyes.

As they continued drinking, Renault's body swayed along with the music.

After about half an hour, Ryukyu's phone rang.

"Hmm? Nejire?"

Ryukyu picked up the phone and, to her surprise, raised an eyebrow but still answered the call.

"Nejire, what's up?"

Renault also turned his head, somewhat surprised to see Hado's call at this hour. Wasn't she supposed to be at school or home?

As Renault realized this, he also realized that he hadn't contacted anyone else yet. He quickly picked up his phone and sent separate messages to Mikoto and Yaoyorozu.

For tonight, he planned to return to the school. However, he might be a bit late, so he decided not to ask Yaoyorozu to wait for him.

Soon, Ryukyu hung up the phone and looked at Renault. "When are you planning to go back?"

"What's up?"

"Nejire just finished a mission and returned to Tokyo. She wants to grab some late-night snacks with me. She's hungry. If you have the time, why not join us?"

'Oh, so Senpai was out on a mission. No wonder I haven't seen her these past few days.' Renault thought for a moment and didn't refuse. "Sure, I'm free anyway. It's almost the end of the year, and there's not much to do."

"Great, let's go then."

Ryukyu finished the drink in his tall glass and said to the bartender, "Tell your boss I'm leaving."

The two of them left the bar, and Renault was slightly sobered by the cold wind. He tightened his coat.

Ryukyu also put on the coat he brought along. "Let's go, we'll get a taxi."

They quickly found a taxi and arrived in front of an Izakaya Bar.

"Izakaya Bar?" Renault looked at the storefront with some confusion. "Aren't we here to eat?"

"The food here is really good, especially the stewed dishes. It's cold weather, so let's have something warm for the stomach." Ryukyu glanced at Renault and smiled. "And they have great sake here too."

But tonight, Renault also wanted to taste it and didn't intend to stop.

"Oh! Renault-kun, you're here too!"

Then he saw Hado happily pouring herself a small cup from the sake bottle and taking a sip.

After downing the drink, a beautiful flush appeared on Hado's face, and she poured a glass for Renault too.

"Come on, tonight we won't go home until we're drunk!"
