[MHCISQD] Chapter 320: Scared?

After Yaoyorozu said the sentence, she didn't pursue it further and quietly assisted Renault.
During this period, she gradually understood that Mikoto was willing to accept her, perhaps because she expected more women to appear around Renault in the future.
It was certain, especially since they were still in senior high school and this trend was already evident. What would happen when they became Pro Heroes and interacted with even more people?
Though Mikoto had confidence in herself and in her relationship with Renault, she couldn't withstand the relentless pursuit.
The events between Yaoyorozu and Renault indirectly fostered these thoughts in Mikoto.
However, it was still uncertain at the moment, but in the future, there might be another addition?
Judging by Renault's expression, it seemed they would have to wait for Hado to take the initiative.
Recalling the interactions between Hado and Renault, Yaoyorozu also knew that her senpai had a long road ahead. She could ignore it, but she wouldn't help with anything.
After finishing dinner, the whole class, along with Eri and Hado, had a lively meal together.
Todoroki and Bakugo had already confirmed their hero offices for off-campus work study. Todoroki would continue working in Endeavor's office, while Bakugo would still go to Best Jeanist's place.
Although Bakugo strongly opposed this arrangement, Aizawa knew his personality and made the decision for him. Best Jeanist was also very welcoming and promised to 'guide' this talented young man.
However, even though the work studies were decided, they would only begin after the new year.
After dinner, Hado went back, and Eri was taken by a few girls to take a bath.
Yaoyorozu entered Renault's room and said directly to him, "Let's go."
Passing through the black hole, the two returned to Renault's house.
Upon arriving after a long absence, Yaoyorozu noticed that there was an additional person.
There was another girl.
She was very beautiful, tall, and particularly eye-catching with her long, flowing purple hair.
"Who is this...?" Yaoyorozu looked at the girl sitting beside Mikoto, feeling puzzled.
Was she a guest?
Mikumo didn't speak, and Mikoto did the same. They both just looked at Renault.
Renault shook his head and looked at Mikumo, saying, "Haven't you already learned from Mikoto? You can't introduce yourself yet?"
Mikumo covered her mouth and chuckled.
There was no other choice; Renault had to introduce her.
"Let me introduce you. Mikumo is the newest member of our family. She arrived not long ago."
"Why haven't I heard you mention her before?" Yaoyorozu looked at Renault, somewhat puzzled, then suddenly realized, "There's something fishy about her identity, right?"
Renault nodded and gestured for her to sit down. He went to the kitchen and brought back some snacks and drinks. Only then did he officially explain Mikumo's background.
After listening, Yaoyorozu looked at Renault somewhat dejectedly and said, "Don't you trust me?"
Renault quickly shook his head. "No, no, no. I was just concerned about Mikumo's safety, so I planned to find an opportunity to tell you. Besides, it'll be Christmas in a couple of days, and I'll take her to school then. You'll meet her at that time. And also..."
As Renault's gaze shifted back and forth between her and Mikoto, he spoke up.
"Don't you have anything to say to me?"
"Indeed." Mikoto nodded and replied, "Today, when you returned to school, Momo-nee stayed here to sleep."
"...Huh?"
"Is there a problem?" Mikoto gave Renault a direct glare.
"No problem, absolutely no problem."
"Alright, can you guys stop talking about these things?" At that moment, Yuriko came down from upstairs and looked at the four of them, particularly Renault. She said, "Isn't it time to talk about what happened yesterday? I've been annoyed by these two all day. And by the way, aren't there two more people downstairs that you seem to have forgotten?"
"Huh?"
"Downstairs?"
"Two people?"
"Hmm?" Renault also hesitated for a moment before he remembered. Yesterday, he indeed brought back two people who were currently locked in the underground training room.
They hadn't eaten for a day, had they? Although they were captives, he wasn't the type to mistreat them.
As the younger sister, Yuriko understood Renault's thoughts instantly and knew that he had genuinely forgotten about them.
"Don't worry, I gave them food. They won't starve."
Mikoto grabbed Renault's arm. "Confess already! What are you hiding?"
"Are you really going to tell me?"
"Of course! But, after I tell you, don't distance yourself from me, okay?"
Renault's expression became serious, causing Mikoto to feel a bit anxious.
But after a few seconds, she regained her composure.
"Go ahead, I won't do that!"
Renault nodded and gestured to Yuriko.
She directly handed over the tablet she had in her hands, displaying the news of Deika City and the images of the ruins.
"I did all of this yesterday..." Renault said, leaving the girls in silence.
Yaoyorozu looked at Renault, though she was shocked, she had mentally prepared herself to some extent. "It was you after all, and on such a large scale."
"No, to be precise, we did it together..." Yuriko interjected.
"What nonsense are you saying?" Renault glared at his younger sister and said, "I was the one in charge. You merely lent me your power. Don't keep blaming yourself all the time."
Then, he looked at the other three girls. "Are you wondering why I did this?"
He spent the next ten minutes explaining everything about the Meta Liberation Army, the League of Villains, and the events in Deika City from beginning to end.
After finishing, he stood up and prepared to go to the underground training room.
"You guys stay here. I'll go downstairs and see them. They've been left alone for a day; it's time to have a proper conversation with them."
He took the tablet with him as well.
He knew that if he stayed here, Mikoto and the others would have no idea how to speak.
After he left, Mikoto turned her gaze directly to Yuriko.
"Yuriko, is what Senpai said true?"
"Is there any need for me to lie to you?" Yuriko leaned back on the sofa, her expression calm. "What's wrong? Are you scared? If you're scared, just say it. No one will stop you."
Yaoyorozu chimed in at the right moment, "In that case, Renault will be mine alone. That's not too bad, right?"
