[MHCISQD] Chapter 358: Shocker's Great Leader

In Renault's room, the siblings sat on two chairs on the balcony. Yuriko listened as Renault recounted the events that had unfolded near the town earlier.

"An evil organization from another world? And they've teamed up with the League of Villains?"

As he spoke, a sense of unease washed over her. It wasn't just constant, it was as if the whole world had gone awry.

Renault leaned back, raising an eyebrow.

"Seriously? You think I'd make up something like that?" He chuckled softly as he looked at Yuriko's stunned expression. It was rare to see her like this.

"I didn't think... I mean, this sounds like something straight out of a novel..." Yuriko replied, her disbelief evident.

Renault's gaze was unwavering. "Believe it or not, it's real. Those Rider belts I have, they're from another world too. Somehow, they ended up here and I got hold of them. And that guy who came back with me, Kadoya Tsukasa, Kamen Rider Decade—he's from another world too. He has the power to travel between worlds."

Understanding dawned on Yuriko's face. "So, the opponent you mentioned before, it's him, right?"

Renault nodded.

As Renault continued to explain, Yuriko found herself wide awake. She glanced at the clock—it was past 4 in the morning. Sleep was out of the question now.

"Given this situation, the League of Villains' power has surely increased. What's our plan moving forward?" Yuriko inquired.

Renault shrugged nonchalantly. "What else can we do? We play it cool. Shocker, unlike the League of Villains and the Meta Liberation Army, won't just sit idly. With them involved, I bet the League of Villains won't stay quiet either. Their move is on the horizon. We'll make the most of this time and rest."

Standing up, Renault stretched lazily and asked, "You're not planning on sleeping, right? How about we go grab some coffee?"

"Sure."

Yuriko got up as well, and together, the siblings descended to the inn's front desk.

The inn had staff working throughout the night. Upon the siblings' request, they were led to the kitchen.

"Both of you, the coffee beans are right here. Which type would you like to brew?" the staff member asked.

Renault waved them off. "Thanks, but we've got this. My younger sister and I can handle it. You can go back to your duties."

The staff member understood, knowing the importance of accommodating important guests. "Alright then, feel free to let me know if you need anything."

Alone in the kitchen, Renault and Yuriko took charge of making the coffee. After some time, they returned to their room with freshly brewed coffee. The time was getting close to the morning rush, and disturbing others in the inn wouldn't be considerate.

Sipping their delicious coffee, Yuriko and Renault discussed their plans for the future.

Yuriko's bookstore would still open after the new year break. However, in addition to that, she had made an arrangement with Renault that if Shocker showed up, she would join in the action.

"Those Shocker fighters don't seem all that powerful. What's the point in getting involved?" Renault pondered.

"There might be some formidable Kaijin among them, and you did mention that they're teaming up, right? Who knows what interesting developments might arise? Just don't hog all the fun when the time comes. Remember, I've been patient for a while now."

Yuriko's expression lit up with excitement at the thought of a good fight.

Renault understood—Yuriko had always been eager to fight, particularly against strong opponents. Whenever he had the time, he would spar and train with her. Given the appearance of the new Shocker Organization, it was only natural that she was curious and enthusiastic.

"Alright, alright, if there's really something fun happening, I'll definitely call you along."

"That sounds about right."

Yuriko nodded in satisfaction and leisurely sipped her coffee.

Renault let out a sigh with a smile, "Where can one find a younger sister like you? Not only are you not clingy to your elder brother, but you also keep throwing all sorts of challenging questions at me."

"What's the matter? You were the one who insisted on bringing me back in the first place. Are you regretting it now?"

Yuriko displayed no signs of anger and smiled at Renault.

"Of course not regretting it. Why would I regret it?"

"Well then, do you think I'm different from the usual kind of younger sister? Should I change my attitude? If you want, I can give it a try, you know."

Yuriko's face lit up with a smile that she didn't show when interacting with others as she looked at Renault.

"Hmm..."

In his mind, Renault simulated a scenario where Yuriko cutely held her own hand together and called him 'Onii-chan'. Instantly, he felt a shiver down his spine.

"Let's forget about that. Things are fine the way they are now."

The two people didn't continue on that topic. They exchanged words, spending the late night into the early morning in a slow and leisurely manner.

Both of them had exceptional physiques, and the same applied to their psychics. With good coffee to drink, there was no sign of fatigue as morning approached.

Seeing that it was getting late, Yuriko prepared to head back to her own room.

"I'm heading over first. Hopefully, they're not awake yet."

"Yeah, I'll head down in a while too."

Renault hadn't forgotten that he had an important event to attend to today.

Meanwhile, as Renault and Tsukasa had just found out about Shocker's underwater base, the Shocker's Great Leader sat on the throne, fuming with anger upon receiving the news that the nighttime mission team had been completely wiped out.

"Decade has exhausted my troops! How could my entire battalion be obliterated?" the Great Leader stood up from the throne, glancing at the underlings, and shouted, "Why? Why is Decade so much stronger now? How could he eliminate a fully equipped unit of ours in such a short time?"

The executive members remained silent; they hadn't anticipated losing contact just half an hour after it started.

Had Decade's power truly become this terrifying? Did they need to send out a large number of senior members to deal with him?

At that moment, a communication came in from the Doctor, along with a video file.

"I believe there's something of interest for you in this video."

After receiving the message, the Great Leader fell silent for a few seconds before opening the video.

The screen displayed Tsukasa and Renault, standing against Shocker.

Watching Renault transform into a Rider, the Great Leader could no longer maintain composure.

"Even this world has Riders? It seems our strategy needs adjustment. Everyone, gather information on this person. I want the most comprehensive intel in the shortest time possible!"

"Yes, sir!"
