[MHCISQD] Chapter 360: Become a Teacher?

To avoid getting sleepy, Renault went to brew some coffee again. On his way back, he coincidentally bumped into Tsukasa.

"Seems like you guys are up to something interesting..." Tsukasa remarked.

"Yeah, there's a treasure hunt competition today. You should know about it," Renault gestured towards the lobby and walked over with Tsukasa. "By the way, aren't you wearing your work uniform?"

"I quit. My main goal now is Shocker. Can't keep hiding out here, right?" Tsukasa replied.

After sitting down in the lobby and taking a sip of coffee Renault handed him, Tsukasa continued, "But the Shocker matter can wait. I'm more interested in what you guys were up to this afternoon."

"Since when did Decade become so gossipy?"

"Well, it's all because of you guys." Tsukasa laughed. "I've been doing some catching up. I didn't expect all of you to be U.A.'s students. Each one of you has boundless potential, and whatever caught your interest must be intriguing."

Renault nodded and then suddenly thought of something. He decided to ask Tsukasa about it.

"By the way, got a question for you."

"What?"

"Do you have a girlfriend?"

"*Cough! Cough! Cough!*"

Tsukasa almost choked on his coffee, hastily grabbing a few tissues to wipe his mouth and the table in front of him. He glared at Renault. "What on earth are you asking?"

"Just a simple question, what's wrong with that?"

Renault looked at Tsukasa from side to side, noticing a hint of evasion in his expression. So, he playfully changed his own expression and said, "You... don't tell me you've never been in love?"

"How could that be? Who said I haven't? It's just that I've been traveling across different worlds all this time. I don't have that kind of time right now!" Tsukasa explained, attempting to maintain his composure.

"Really?"

"Do you think I would lie about something like that? No need for that!"

'Tsk, tsk...' Renault couldn't help but feel regret for that Natsumi girl. If only Tsukasa tried to pursue her, he wouldn't have needed much effort to win her over. Yet he left such a beauty untouched.

This guy was blind.

"Hey! What's with that look in your eyes?"

Tsukasa sensed malice in Renault's gaze.

Shaking his head, Renault said casually, "Just feeling it's a waste, that's all."

"???"

Renault didn't delve too deeply into Tsukasa's romantic history, but he briefly recounted the situations of Midoriya and Uraraka.

Tsukasa, intrigued, listened attentively. During his travels through various worlds, he mostly investigated and fought, rarely encountering situations like this.

"Oh, that Midoriya... the one you mentioned before, All Might's successor, right?"

"Yeah, but he still has a long way to go before reaching All Might's level. Needs more training."

Listening, Tsukasa rubbed his chin, then surprised Renault with a proposal, "What if I become a teacher at U.A.?"

"...What?"

Did he hear correctly just now? Decade wanted to become a teacher?

"Hey, you looking down on me?" Tsukasa raised an eyebrow, leaning back on the single sofa, hands resting on the armrests, exuding an air of superiority. "I mean, come on, I've been through countless battles big and small. What kind of villains haven't I seen? Teaching a bunch of kids should be a piece of cake, don't you think?"

"I'm sure of that, considering Decade's reputation. But your strength in human form isn't that strong, is it?"

Tsukasa waved his hand dismissively. "I've demonstrated enough of my abilities to the school's teachers. I can spar with them if needed. But when it comes to teaching students, I don't need to get directly involved, right? As long as I have the ability to guide them. And besides..."

Tsukasa paused for a moment, wearing a confident expression. "After the battle early this morning, your information will definitely end up in the hands of the Shocker Organization. You'll become a target for them. If I become a teacher at U.A., our cooperation will be much more convenient. We could even use those Shocker combatmen and Kaijin to give the students some practice."

"Seems like you'd be a hands-on teacher if you take the job."

"Absolutely, actions speak louder than words." Tsukasa said confidently.

Although Renault was quite surprised, he found this proposal quite intriguing. He might talk to All Might about it later.

After discussing Tsukasa's job situation, Renault decided to wander around nearby for a bit before bidding farewell to Tsukasa. However, before leaving, Tsukasa agreed that he would also come by in the afternoon to join in the fun.

Renault couldn't quite understand why this guy, who was clearly not young anymore, wanted to tag along for the excitement.

But, well, let him do as he pleased.

Going upstairs and calling Mikoto, the two of them strolled around the area. They bought some interesting trinkets and local specialties to take back home to their parents.

While walking, Mikoto held Renault's hand and asked, "Senpai, guess what kind of prizes they have for today's competition?"

"Well, asking me won't help much. I'm not the mayor, and the gifts are mostly decided by them. But they're probably fun and meaningful items."

Mikoto pondered for a moment.

Then she asked another question.

"Senpai, did something happen last night?"

"Hmm?"

Renault turned to look at Mikoto, wondering how she knew. Yuriko didn't say anything, did she?

"I was having a bit of a restless sleep since I wasn't at home. I vaguely noticed Yuriko getting up, and she didn't come back for a while. But since there wasn't any commotion, I didn't worry. I was too tired, so I fell back asleep after waiting a while."

Listening to Mikoto's words, Renault contemplated for a moment before saying, "I'll tell you about that later. No rush. Today, we have more important things to focus on, right?"

"Deal, that's what you say, better not anything from me, okay!"

"Of course, of course. Hey, Mikoto, how about we go for a mixed bath tonight?"

"No way! Don't think I don't know what you're thinking!" Mikoto blushed, firmly refusing.

With just the two of them now, why would Renault pass up the chance to tempt Mikoto? He immediately pulled her close and persisted, "It's just us, no one else will disturb us. Bathing together in the hot springs is a rare opportunity."

Mikoto's ears softened too. Under Renault's persuasion, she agreed in a drowsy state. But she strongly insisted that Renault mustn't let anyone else know, or there would be consequences.

Renault naturally knew what to do, and his mood became even more joyful.
