[MHCISQD] Chapter 376: Astonishment

As expected, a dozen seconds later, the smoke cleared.

Tsukasa stood unscathed, while Bakugo had already fallen unconscious.

Is it ending like this?

Just one move, and it's over like that?

Everyone, even people like Todoroki and Midoriya, stared at the large screen, watching Bakugo, who had lost consciousness.

Initially, they thought the match would last for five minutes. Even if Bakugo couldn't win, they expected him to at least last until the time ran out.

But who would have thought that Bakugo would fall within two minutes?

They could all see it. This Kadoya Tsukasa was not the same person who helped All Might during the battle of Kamino. However, nobody anticipated that Tsukasa's strength would truly be as Aizawa described—on par with the top ten heroes on the ranking.

No, maybe even stronger. Probably only Endeavor could give him a run for his money.

Soon, the medical personnel waiting for him carried Bakugo away, taking him to Recovery Girl for healing. Tsukasa still holding back a little in his attack. Bakugo would likely recover fully after just a day's rest.

Tsukasa didn't undo his Rider transformation, awaiting his next opponent.

Glancing at the order sheet in his hand, All Might announced, "Next up, Kirishima, go."

Taking a deep breath, Kirishima stood up from his seat. His expression was serious as he walked out without saying a word.

But everyone could tell his movements were somewhat stiff.

It was certain. As someone who was close to Bakugo in the class and one of the people who knew him best, Kirishima was well aware of Bakugo's strength. Even with his formidable defense and impressive strength, Kirishima knew he couldn't hold on for long against Bakugo's relentless attacks.

Yet, this very Bakugo that had launched a decent attack from beginning to end to Tsukasa was utterly crushed like an ant.

Kirishima genuinely didn't know how he could win.

And the outcome was much as he and everyone else had expected.

After witnessing Tsukasa's strength, Kirishima unleashed his strongest move 'Unbreakable' right at the start. It pushed his body's hardness and endurance to the limit. Despite this, Tsukasa effortlessly blocked his attack and landed two punches that took him down.

Kirishima didn't lose consciousness, but he was still carried away.

Tsukasa shook his hand and couldn't help but say, "This guy's hardness, if he trained more, could probably reach an even higher level."

The next three participants were Tsuyu, Tokoyami, and Jiro.

Tsukasa gave the two girls a bit of face, but they still took quite a hit.

As for Tokoyami, after understanding the opponent's abilities, Tsukasa immediately identified Tokoyami's weakness. He used the Build's OctopusLight form and decisively defeated Tokoyami.

Next, Iida was in a similar situation. With Decade having the power of all Heisei Protagonist Riders, while Iida's speed was impressive, there were quite a few Heisei Riders that excelled in speed.

A simple Clock Up left Iida completely unable to keep up.

After Iida's exit, it was finally time for the main event.

Todoroki Shoto.

Facing Tsukasa, Todoroki looked at him in silence, but his ice and flame attributes were already subtly manifesting.

"Not bad." Tsukasa finally found something interesting. He waved at Todoroki.

Todoroki didn't hesitate. A column of ice shot forth with a direct wave of his hand.

Tsukasa didn't back down either. He shattered the incoming ice with a single punch, then pulled out a card.

*KAMENRIDE! HIBIKI!*

Completely purple with flaming red hands, his helmet bore a mask resembling an Oni.

Drawing his 'Ongekibou (Sound Attack Clubs)', Tsukasa said, "Combining fire and ice, huh? Then I'll use the Oni's flames against you."

Two flames appeared on the Ongekibou as Tsukasa swung hard, sending them toward Todoroki.

An ice wall appeared in front of Todoroki, blocking the flames. However, he realized that although the opponent's flames were blocked, his ice wall instantly melted.

The temperature was extremely high.

Taking a deep breath, Todoroki took a step forward. One side of his body ignited with blazing flames, while the other side exuded intense cold, two energies interacting to form a formidable power.

"Heh, ready for a big move? Seems like these students are all impatient."

Tsukasa sighed and drew another card.

*FINAL ATTACK RIDE! HIBIKI!*

A belt-mounted 'Ongekiko (Sound Attack Drum)' emblem appeared, growing larger. It confronted Todoroki's massive ice pillar and the raging flames that followed.

*BUZZZ!*

But unlike previous explosions, this time none occurred.

Ongekiko stood at the forefront, emitting an eerie energy that restrained Todoroki's powerful move.

Gripping the Ongekibou, Tsukasa approached Ongekiko and raised his arms, rhythmically striking it.

*BOOM!*

*BOOM! BOOM!*

The sound of drums resonated. The onlookers were shocked as they witnessed both the icy and fiery powers crumble from within.

"How is this possible?" Todoroki gaped at the scene, thoroughly amazed.

Before he could react further, the rhythmic strikes, though from a great distance, reached Todoroki, sending him flying.

Todoroki Shoto, K.O!

Next up!

Successive battles followed suit. There wasn't much else to talk about. One by one, they took the stage, got beaten up, and withdrew.

Even Midoriya, pushing his One For All to the limit and utilizing his second Quirk, Blackwhip, couldn't defeat Tsukasa or even stall him until the last minute.

Speed, strength, and technique—none of the students matched Tsukasa's prowess.

Though Tsukasa took a three-minute rest after each fight, as rounds progressed, the time taken barely exceeded an hour.

The first-grade students of U.A. High School, acknowledged nationwide as the top hero class, were caught in a state of astonishment.

Among them, only Renault had not yet battled Tsukasa.

As everyone brooded, Renault quietly stepped onto the training ground.

Facing Tsukasa across the arena, Renault felt a bit helpless.

How far should this fight go?
