"Well, Renault-kun, are the four of us going to work together today? Why the sudden change?"

"Well, Senpai, you're probably aware that the school issued a notice about a dangerous organization cropping up."

"Yeah." Hado acknowledged her knowledge of the situation but still seemed a bit gloomy.

Before, it was usually just her and Renault working together. But now, there were two extras.

Hado developed a liking for Renault.

At first, she was quite puzzled by this, and it wasn't until recently that she finally became certain about her feelings.

During the vacation, Hado returned to her own home after her holiday, and she stayed there until the beginning of the school term.

She had initially hoped to team up with Renault for the off-campus work-study, but to her surprise, as soon as they arrived at the office, their group expanded to four members.

It wasn't that she disliked Tsuyu and Uraraka; she just found the current arrangement a bit frustrating.

Today's schedule wasn't too complicated. It was the first mission after the start of the school term, and Ryukyu didn't assign anything too significant. It was just a simple routine patrol.

After getting ready, the four of them set off together, starting their patrol for the day.

Upon leaving the office, Renault turned to Uraraka and asked a question that had been on his mind.

"Uraraka, why is there so little interaction between you and Midoriya at school? Aren't you two already dating?"

As soon as Renault asked this question, Uraraka, who had been walking normally, immediately froze. Her face turned red, and she started shaking her hands nervously. "D-Don't ask such a sudden question!"

Tsuyu chimed in from the side, "No need to dodge, Ochaco-chan. I think it's a pretty normal question. And yes, you are indeed dating, but your interactions in the past few days haven't been that frequent. Did you two have a fight?"

"N-No, not at all!" After vehemently denying it with a reddened face, Uraraka continued, "It's just that I'm not sure how to act around each other at school, especially with everyone around."

"Oh! So you mean things would be more relaxed if it's just the two of you?" Renault said with a knowing smile.

"Relaxed..." Tsuyu pondered and then added, "But don't rush into things too quickly, Ochaco-chan. You're still in school, and having kids now wouldn't be the best idea."

"You're overthinking it! Kids and stuff are totally out of the question!"

Uraraka shot a glare at the two and then hurriedly went over to Hado's side.

"It's better with Hado-senpai. She doesn't tease me about this stuff!"

Hado glanced at Uraraka, who was holding her arm, tilted her head, and said, "Well, they asked me everything I was wondering about! And Ochaco-chan, you should definitely take protective measures!"

"We're not going that far!"

As the four continued walking, they chatted and laughed, but they didn't neglect their patrol of the surroundings.

Today, the streets of Tokyo were unusually peaceful.

The topic still revolved around Uraraka and Midoriya, and suddenly, Tsuyu had an idea. She suggested, "Actually, Ochaco-chan, you can observe Renault-kun and Yaomomo's interactions. It might be quite enlightening, you know?"

Upon hearing this, Uraraka blinked and looked at Renault knowingly. "That's a good point!"

"Oy, oy! Don't just copy everything others do, okay?" With a sigh, Renault said, "In situations like this, do things your way according to what you both want. Don't worry too much about what others think. They won't really care. Of course, sometimes it's good to be a bit considerate of the feelings of those who are single."

Renault's words led Uraraka into deep contemplation.

Indeed, they had been overthinking things these past couple of days.

She decided to talk it over with Midoriya when they got the chance.

As she was thinking, shouts suddenly echoed in her ears, coming from a distance.

"Hey everyone, did you hear that?" Uraraka immediately turned serious.

The other three nodded simultaneously.

Pointing in the direction to the west, Renault said, "It's about five hundred meters away. I'll go ahead."

With that, Renault took off into the air, heading towards the source of the sound.

"I'm coming too!" Hado activated her Quirk, allowing the air to carry her forward.

"Ah! You sneaky pair! Tsuyu-chan, we're going too!"

Uraraka held Tsuyu's hand, then used her power to reduce the gravity on both of them, thrusting their legs and floating forward quickly. While they couldn't match Renault's speed, they were far from slow.

Upon reaching their destination, Uraraka and Tsuyu were taken aback by the scene before them.

"These people are..."

Standing in front of Uraraka, Renault said casually, "These are the members of the Shocker Organization I mentioned before, the Combatmen."

Looking at the villains dressed in black outfits causing destruction everywhere, both Uraraka and Tsuyu wore serious expressions.

"There are quite a few of them, at least 30 people, right? And look over there!"

Tsuyu pointed to the rear of the Combatmen, where a tall green creature was giving orders.

With its pair of eerie red eyes and an emerald-green body, the creature had two sharp blade-like hands.

"Is that a Mantis Kaijin?"

After mumbling these words, Renault looked at the three girls and said, "Do you want to give it a try? Deal with those Combatmen first. I'll hold off the mantis guy and let you handle it afterward."

The three girls exchanged glances and eventually agreed with Renault's suggestion. They dashed forward.

The Mantis Kaijin noticed the four individuals and swung its mantis arms forward, commanding the Shocker Combatmen to charge at them.

While Uraraka rushed forward, she quickly manipulated various objects around her—rubble, bicycles, and fallen iron railings—using them to knock down several Combatmen and pin them down.

Tsuyu relied on her agility to dodge an attack from a Shocker Combatmen. She then executed a sweeping kick, tripping him, and used her long tongue to fling him away, hitting two others in the process.

Hado took a more direct approach, manipulating the air to create a spiral that wreaked havoc ahead, preventing anyone from getting close.

Observing this, the Mantis Kaijin sneered, "Hmph, these heroes do have some skills. Looks like it's my turn to step in! I'll take care of all of you. Victory belongs to Shocker!"

"Are you overestimating yourselves?"

Suddenly, Renault's figure smoothly maneuvered past the Shocker Combatmen and appeared in front of the Mantis Kaijin.

"And who might you be, twerp?"

Renault tilted his head slightly. It seemed not all members of Shocker knew his identity.

Well, that made things easier. No need to worry about this fellow running away.

Renault looked at the Mantis Kaijin and remarked, "You must not be very well-liked, huh? Looking this ugly, no one wants to get close to you."

"You... I will kill you!!!"

Even as a Kaijin, the creature didn't take kindly to being called ugly. It immediately swung its mantis blades toward the calm-faced Renault.
