[MHCISQD] Chapter 387: War of Villains (II)

The battle had erupted, and the surrounding crowd had long since scattered, with no casualties among them.

Shigaraki, Dabi, and Twice had their sights set directly on Yotsubashi. Twice even split into dozens of clones, all rushing forward.

"One against many, you're done for!" yelled one of Twice's clones as they charged at Yotsubashi, who remained motionless.

Watching these clones approach, Yotsubashi casually raised his right hand and said, "Are you guys kidding?"

In the next moment, his fingers swept across one clone's body, instantly obliterating it.

"Hmm?"

In the distance, Renault, who was observing the battle through binoculars, became serious.

This guy is tougher than expected.

Twice's main body stood beside Shigaraki, looking puzzled. "What's going on?"

"How should I know?" Shigaraki replied, equally surprised. It seemed this person had been hiding their true abilities.

Meanwhile, Dabi, with an unchanged expression, unleashed a massive blast of blue flames towards Yotsubashi, attempting to engulf him.

However, everyone had underestimated Yotsubashi.

*BOOOM!*

A powerful gust of wind instantly dissipated Dabi's attack, and Shigaraki and the others were blown away.

Renault lowered his binoculars and whistled.

Yotsubashi was indeed unexpected.

In the current situation, even without binoculars, the scene was clear.

Yotsubashi's right arm had grown several times larger, and with a powerful swing, he created a no-man's-land ahead, showcasing his immense strength.

'A strength-type Quirk? But it seems somewhat different?' Renault couldn't quite pinpoint Yotsubashi's Quirk type.

What was certain was that it was a formidable one.

The battle continued on the scene, with news spreading through the internet and television.

In Ryukyu's office, Hado and two others, having just finished lunch, were shocked to see the live news broadcast.

"That's the League of Villains and Shocker?!"

The live broadcast on TV made all three of them stand up in astonishment.

Almost simultaneously, Uraraka and Tsuyu's phones rang.

Checking their phones, it was a message in their class group chat. Everyone knew about the League of Villains and Shocker's appearance. However, they were all scattered, working in different locations. It seemed that only the Pro Heroes could handle this situation.

Yet, in Uwabami's office, Yaoyorozu, holding her phone, noticed that Renault hadn't been active in the class group chat, and his status showed as offline.

With this in mind, she sent Renault a text message.

[Where are you? League of Villains and Shocker are here.]

Less than a minute later, Renault's reply came with a photo showing League of Villains, Shocker, and a large group of people engaged in a battle.

[I'm on the scene, but it's not my turn yet. I'll see how things unfold.] Renault replied casually.

Yaoyorozu sighed in resignation.

[You have to be careful, okay?]

After sending an 'OK' emote, Renault focused on the situation at the scene.

Meanwhile, Pro Heroes couldn't stay out of the fight. Kamui Woods, Mt. Lady, Edgeshot, Mirko, and several other well-known Pro Heroes, as well as a group of second-tier Pro Heroes, arrived at the scene. Endeavor was dealing with a case in Kansai and couldn't make it in time.

Seeing the chaotic battle and extensive damage to public facilities, Pro Heroes wasted no time and rushed in.

Edgeshot stood beside Kamui Woods and commented, "That person is Yotsubashi Rikiya from Detnerat, but there was no information suggesting his combat strength was this high."

Kamui Woods, his wooden head showing concern, added, "His identity might be more unusual than we thought. Be cautious; neither side can afford to underestimate."

As they were preparing to subdue the Shocker Combatmen and various participants, a powerful force suddenly erupted from the center of the battlefield.

*BOOM!*

A fierce punch sent shockwaves, along with Dabi and Twice, flying.

Shigaraki, on the other hand, was firmly held by Yotsubashi, who had transformed into a giant, using his grasp to twist Shigaraki's left arm at an unnatural angle.

From a distance, Renault couldn't hear what the two were saying, but he saw Yotsubashi toss Shigaraki towards the wall of a nearby office building, creating a massive dent. Shigaraki's right hand, the one that was held by Yotsubashi, showed some cracks.

Shigaraki seemed to be in a frenzied state as he quickly charged out of the wall, disregarding his injuries, and attacked Yotsubashi.

"Let's end this. This game of tag is getting boring..." Yotsubashi remarked.

With those words, his body transformed once more, growing even larger and becoming pitch black.

Sensing something bad, Renault immediately left his original position, decisively using his black hole to cross the space, and appeared next to Shigaraki, facing Yotsubashi.

"Overload!"

Youtsubashi raised his left arm high and then swung it down heavily, creating an incredibly powerful shockwave that radiated outward from his center.

However, just as he unleashed this move, Yotsubashi noticed someone new in front of him.

After appearing, Renault grabbed Shigaraki's shoulder with his left hand and extended his right hand forward.

"Running amok in the city won't do."

Vector Manipulation, instant full power output, met Yotsubashi's massive attack head-on.

The collision of the two tremendous forces caused the air to momentarily stagnate, and then the next second, it vibrated with even stronger fluctuations.

"Damn, this is tricky."

Muttering to himself, Renault shifted from a clenched fist to an open palm, directly controlling the surrounding waves and reducing the spreading shockwave to a minimum.

Even so, within a one-kilometer radius, the area still resembled a hurricane, sending many people tumbling.

'Hahh, looking at the results, it's much better than having this guy's moves go unchecked. Good thing I reacted fast enough, otherwise, this whole area would be toast.'

Releasing his grip on Shigaraki's hand, Renault thought like that and took a step forward towards Yotsubashi.
