[MHCISQD] Chapter 388: War of Villains (III)

Taking a deep breath, Yotsubashi stared at Renault, his expression ice-cold.

"I didn't expect you to show up so soon."

"It seems you know me..." Renault replied.

"Of course. I was in Deika City that day, watching you cause that earthquake." Yotsubashi said, his face contorting with anger. "Do you know how frustrated I felt after seeing that? I've been building and waiting for so long, finally turning a whole city into one of our strongholds, and you just casually destroyed it!"

With those words, Yotsubashi charged forward, his fist, larger than a pot, aimed at Renault's face.

*BAAANG!*

As his punch landed, a strong gust of wind blew.

On the outskirts of the battle, Mt. Lady, now in her colossal form, kicked away a few Shocker Combatmen and watched the center of the battlefield in surprise. "How did that kid get here?"

"I don't know, but for now, let's deal with what's in front of us. There are too many villains! And that kid will be fine." Kamui Woods's voice came from the side. He extended two branches from his hands, entwining them around two Shocker Combatmen, and then used them as projectiles, hurling them into a group of people.

"Hehehe, Pro Heroes have arrived, huh?" A rough voice suddenly came from behind, accompanied by a chilling breeze.

Kamui Woods tensed and rolled to the side immediately.

Turning around, he saw a Kaijin covered in scales, a crocodile head with sharp claws waving its arms, and a robust tail. Its blood-red eyes locked onto Kamui Woods as it approached.

"How about I be your opponent, wooden man?" Crocodile Kaijin taunted.

Kamui Woods sighed. "Looks like you're quite strong."

He swung a branch to wrap around a nearby billboard and pulled himself into the air, narrowly avoiding the Crocodile Kaijin's attack, which left a large crater in the ground.

Kamui Woods watched the destruction caused by the attack and couldn't help but break into a cold sweat. While his combat abilities were decent, they mainly relied on his agility to evade villain attacks. When it came to defense, he was lacking.

So, Kamui Woods found himself playing a game of cat and mouse with the Crocodile Kaijin while dealing with other villains on the side.

However, the situation was not much better elsewhere.

*BAAANG!*

Rabbit Hero Mirko was sent flying by a giant bear Kaijin's powerful palm strike and fell into unconsciousness. Her previous barrage of kicks hadn't even scratched the villain's skin.

Glancing at the fallen Mirko, the Bear Kaijin spat out some saliva. "This is a Pro Hero? I'm dying of laughter."

With that, he shifted his focus to Edgeshot, a ninja-like hero who piqued his interest.

In the center of the battlefield, Renault was in no danger. Yotsubashi's fist was stopped by an invisible protective barrier before it could reach Renault.

After experiencing Yotsubashi's power, Renault commented, "Well, your strength is quite impressive. If I hadn't just broken through a moment ago, it might be a little troublesome. Just a little though."

"Vector Manipulation, hero name 'Accelerator'. You're quite confident." Yotsubashi remarked, throwing a series of punches at Renault. He wore a sly grin on his face.

Renault looked at Yotsubashi with a calm expression, knowing exactly what this guy was finding amusing. As Yotsubashi prepared to throw his next punch, Renault simply vanished from his original spot.

*BOOM!*

Yotsubashi's fist struck Shigaraki, who had crept up behind Renault, intending to ambush him. Shigaraki spat out a mouthful of blood from the impact.

Renault reappeared in another part of the open space, sending a nearby Shocker Bone Combatman flying with a backhand strike.

"You really think I didn't know what you were planning behind me? My perception is extremely sharp you know." Renault said casually.

Shigaraki, getting up from the ground and wiping blood from his face, looked at Renault.

"You're quite the persistent one, huh? Always showing up where you're not wanted." Shigaraki sneered.

Renault shrugged. "Well, you guys are the ones causing trouble in broad daylight. If you started fighting here, the damage would be too great."

Shigaraki was heavily injured, but Renault didn't seem concerned. He turned his attention to Yotsubashi and asked, "You must be the leader of the Meta Liberation Army, right?"

"Hmm? Meta Liberation Army?" Edgeshot, who was dodging attacks from the Bear Kaijin and not faring well in the fight, heard Renault's words. He had heard of the Meta Liberation Army before but wasn't sure what they were.

Yotsubashi grinned widely and said, "At this point, I can't be bothered to hide anything. I am the heir of Destro's bloodline, bearing the title of Meta Liberation Army leader, Re-Destro! I will create a world where meta-ability is truly revered and rules everything!"

Watching the confident expression on Yotsubashi's face, Renault rolled his eyes. "Villains, always with their grand speeches."

But the fact that the guy was a descendant of Destro did surprise him.

"Hahaha, you probably don't understand a word I just said. But you're not any better, you murderer! Tens of thousands died because of the earthquake you caused. Do you think you can escape that?" Yotsubashi taunted.

Renault, staring directly at Yotsubashi, responded calmly, "I never wanted to escape it. If it happens again, I'll do the same without hesitation."

As he spoke, Renault's body slowly floated up, and the energy fluctuations around him intensified. "Well, let's get started. It's time to put an end to this circus."

"Circus? This is my great ambition! How dare you call it a circus?" Yotsubashi roared, his massive fist striking the ground. He charged forward with full force, leaving nothing in reserve.

Meanwhile, Shigaraki, who had been silent until now, seemed calmer. Without stopping, he quietly pulled out a communication device with a distorted casing from his pocket and said something into it.

The next moment, a mass of black mud appeared on the open ground, and a pair of muscular arms extended from it. Following closely behind was a towering giant, nearly as imposing as the transformed Yotsubashi.

The League of Villains had summoned Gigantomachia.

Gigantomachia surveyed the area with a rough expression, eventually turning his gaze toward the battered Shigaraki. In a deep voice, he said, "Shigaraki Tomura, you're a huge disappointment! Enemy, where is the enemy?"

Shigaraki, unfazed, pointed towards Renault and Yotsubashi ahead.

"They're all enemies."
