[MHCISQD] Chapter 396: Hado Nejire's Concern

The school had just started a few days ago, and this unexpected event had taken everyone by surprise.

After a simple meal of curry and a refreshing shower, Renault lounged on the living room sofa, chatting with schoolmates in the class group on his phone.

Aside from the schoolmates in Tokyo, many others from different regions were aware of today's events and began inquiring in the group chat.

What's more, it wasn't just happening now; the group had been buzzing since the afternoon when the incident had concluded.

And when Renault came back online, the group's activity level ratcheted up again.

Bakugo declared that he had a blast today, except for being pinned down by two members of the League of Villains. He couldn't join in the fight against that Gigantomachia.

He couldn't help but admire Renault, too. Seeing Renault soaring through the chaos, taking down villains wherever he went just made his blood boil.

Bakugo had to admit, he couldn't reach that level.

Once Renault was back online, he shared some information about the Shocker Organization, including Kamen Rider Four.

Renault: "That Shocker Organization probably collected a lot of battle data from Pro Heroes today. So, when we encounter them in the future, everyone should be cautious; their strength might increase."

Bakugo Katsuki: "Hah! The outcome won't change. I'll still blast them to pieces!"

Iida Tenya: "Villains may be strong, but we are also always improving. As long as we keep moving forward, we won't lose!"

Kirishima Eijiro: "I'm so tired. I haven't even had dinner yet; I'm starving..."

As soon as Kirishima's message came, the group's mood changed. Everyone knew he had been taken to investigate a case, and today was the first time he'd been active.

After some questioning, they found out that Kirishima had been taken to a remote area up north, deep in the wilderness. He couldn't find decent food and was dead tired.

Kirishima Eijiro: "Renault! When I get back, you have to make me a huge meal to comfort me!"

Renault: "No, too tired. Make instant noodles for yourself."

Well, that was a straightforward response.

Kirishima Eijiro: "Why not?! Didn't you make a big meal when Hado-senpai came? We're good buddies, aren't we?!"

Renault: "She's a beauty. Can you compete? Or maybe you should perform surgery, and then I'll reconsider?"

Kirishima Eijiro: "I'll pass. (Crying Emoji)"

Renault's words finally lightened the atmosphere in the group.

Renault continued to chat casually and jovially with everyone about various topics.

Suddenly, his leg was touched. Renault's gaze shifted from his phone screen, and he saw Yaoyorozu holding her phone, looking at him mischievously.

"A beauty, huh..."

"Ahem... That was just a joke, don't take it seriously."

"Oh? Is that so?"

"What's the matter, don't you trust me?" Renault looked at Yaoyorozu's expression, immediately set aside his phone, and pulled her into his arms.

"Well, then, let me prove it to you."

"How do you want to prove it?"

Before she could finish her question, Renault's face drew closer.

The rest of the story is self-explanatory; tonight, Yaoyorozu did not return to school.

Early the next morning, except for Yuriko and Mikumo who stayed at home, Renault, Yaoyorozu, and Mikoto went out. Those who had to go to school went, and those who had to go to the office did so.

When Renault arrived at the office, Hado, Uraraka, and Tsuyu were already there.

"Renault! Renault!"

As soon as they saw Renault, Hado jumped up and rushed over to him, grabbing his hand and inspecting his arm, shoulder, neck, and other places.

"Are you okay? You didn't talk to us much yesterday and just left directly!"

Renault was taken aback by Hado's actions, noticing that her hand was getting dangerously close to his pants. He quickly stopped her.

"What are you doing? I'm perfectly fine."

Hado also realized that her actions were a bit inappropriate and chuckled before retracting her hand.

"I'm glad you're okay."

Renault was touched by Hado's concern. She cared about him, and there was no denying that this senpai had feelings for him.

Even if he didn't have any intentions at the moment, he couldn't help but feel a bit smug about it.

Without saying much, Renault went straight to Ryukyu's office.

But as soon as he entered and was about to close the door, Hado squeezed in.

"Why are you coming in?"

"Oh, nothing. Just pretend I'm not here." Hado said, sitting on the sofa, eating snacks she had taken from Ryukyu's office cabinet, and staring at Renault.

Great, he had acquired a stalker.

Ignoring Hado, Renault sat in the chair opposite Ryukyu.

"My off-campus work-study hasn't been canceled, right?"

Ryukyu had learned about Renault's actions in Deika City yesterday. She didn't think he had done anything wrong. To become a Pro Hero, there would be times when tough decisions had to be made. She just admired his determination. If she had been in his shoes, she might have made a different choice, but she couldn't guarantee it would have been a better one.

Shaking her head, Ryukyu said, "Don't worry. All Might has vouched for you. No one is going to do anything to you. But, do you still want to work today? I can give you the day off."

Renault declined outright, "No need for a day off. If I don't work, I'll just go back to school to train and laze around. It's better to be out and about."

"Okay. Today is patrol work, you and Nejire will handle it. I'll take Uraraka Ochaco and Asui Tsuyu for some training today to strengthen their combat abilities."

And so, after changing into their hero costumes, Renault and Hado left the office and began their patrol work.

Hado was in an exceptionally good mood walking beside Renault, humming a little tune.

"You're really happy, aren't you?"

Hado replied, "Of course! Nobody got hurt in yesterday's battle! Isn't that something to be happy about?"

Renault nodded; it was indeed something to be happy about. While others had some minor injuries, they were all relatively unscathed.

Not long into their patrol, Renault spotted someone ahead, Kadoya Tsukasa.

"Why are you here?"

"Hey!" Tsukasa waved at Renault. "Got a moment? We haven't had a proper chat about yesterday's events yet."
