Principal Nezu noticed Tsukasa's silence and asked, "Kadoya-kun, have you thought of something?"

"Shocker."

"Hmm?"

Tsukasa looked up and said to the three of them, "I mean, Shocker. It's highly likely that Shocker is behind this."

"Shocker?" All Might heard the name and instinctively had a bad feeling. After all, nothing good ever came when they were involved.

"Are you sure?"

The three nodded; they had seen them before.

Tsukasa continued, "Those Combatmen are disposable creations directly copied by Shocker, with only a few being higher-ranking members. As for those Kaijin, aside from a few exceptions, many of them are transformed from ordinary people."

"Transformed..." Aizawa immediately pictured something in his mind and said, "So, it's similar to the League of Villains' Nomu?"

"Yeah, quite similar. But the Kaijin created by Shocker are even more terrifying because they not only possess individual strength but also unique abilities and intelligence. They can even outperform Nomu in terms of command and strategy. I've heard you mention encountering an intelligent Nomu, but even that Nomu only had basic combat and hunting instincts. There's a significant difference compared to Kaijin. I suspect Shocker has exhausted their supply of Kaijin and is likely producing new ones now."

Tsukasa's words weighed heavily on the minds of the three.

They were all too aware of the fate that awaited those transformed into Nomu—there was no going back.

"So, can those Kaijin be reverted?"

Tsukasa shook his head, "No, Shocker's Kaijin undergo genetic modifications; there's no way to reverse them. The best we can do for them is to prevent them from causing more harm."

Principal Nezu remained silent for a moment, then clenched his small paws and said to the downcast All Might and Aizawa, "Alright, no need to despair. As Kadoya-kun said, if Shocker is indeed behind this, besides continuing the search, there's not much else we can do. This matter hasn't spread to our school yet, so from now on, we must tighten security around our students to prevent them from facing the same fate."

"What about the off-campus work studies?"

"I know. I will notify the various offices to temporarily suspend internship activities," Principal Nezu said, looking at Aizawa. "Aizawa-kun, you need to intensify the training for the students. I'll prepare and contact the hero offices. We'll convene a teachers' meeting soon."

Inside the store, Yuriko stood at the cash register, flipping through a light novel. Mikumo, on the other hand, was reading a music book. Both of them had earphones in one ear, connected to computers playing soothing piano music.

But their peaceful time was interrupted when sudden vibrations and shouts from outside the store disrupted the tranquility.

Removing her earphone, Mikumo said in confusion, "It sounds like something's happening outside."

Yuriko put down her book and replied, "It's a bit close. You go home now, and I'll check what's going on."

"Okay, be careful."

Quickly closing the store, Mikumo headed home, while Yuriko put on her coat and flew towards the source of the commotion.

The disturbance was indeed nearby, right at the end of the shopping street.

In mid-air, Yuriko saw a nearly three-meter-tall monster with ink-green skin, highly developed muscles, and spikes on its shoulders. It had a grotesque, inhuman face and was causing havoc everywhere.
