[MHCISQD] Chapter 424: How Strong?

In the evenings, most of them opted to continue going to the cafeteria. After all, the school cafeteria offered a wide selection, and it was good enough to sustain them for a few months.
Mei stepped out of her room and called Mikoto to go downstairs together.
"Mikoto, do you really not plan to cook in the dormitory?"
"Well, considering that no one else is cooking, and there are only a few of us, maybe it's best not to." Mikoto replied while shrugging her shoulders.
Mei pondered the idea and agreed.
When they reached the ground floor, they saw Kiana, Fu Hua, and Bronya waiting in the lobby. They had made plans to have dinner together.
At this point, Mikoto noticed the equipment on Bronya's legs and began to speculate.
Though Mikoto didn't say anything, Bronya sensed her gaze and decided not to hide it. She said, "Bronya's legs have no mobility, so she relies on exoskeletons for movement."
Kiana was surprised and asked, "Then why did you come to U.A.?"
"For various reasons..." Bronya replied, putting her phone away. She looked at Kiana and said, "One of those reasons is similar to why the daughter of the Northern Europe's strongest hero, you, came to U.A."
"Similar?" Kiana said, puzzled. "I was sent here without reason. I asked my parents, and they wouldn't tell me."
"..." Bronya's expression was unchanged. She blinked slightly and calmly said, "I see. It seems Bronya needs to lower her opinion of Kiana by three more points."
"What? Why suddenly lower it? By the way, how many points did I have originally?"
"Six points."
"No, don't do that! How can I be just six points? I'm a genius beauty, I should be at least a nine, shouldn't I? You're ruining my pride!"
Watching Kiana cling to Bronya, visibly displeased with her self-rating, the other three kept silent.
To be honest, the three of them agreed with Bronya's rating.
Kiana, during the exam, did showcase some skills that impressed Fu Hua, but she was overly dramatic. She had a carefree and, to put it mildly, an eccentric personality.
She was also a huge foodie, willing to try anything that looked tasty.
However, what Mikoto and Mei didn't expect was that the girl who was now hugging Bronya and trying to boost her own rating had parents who were Northern Europe's strongest hero.
Mikoto took out her phone and silently searched for information. She found Kiana's mother's details.
"Northern Europe's strongest Valkyrie... quite an impressive title. I wonder how she compares to the previous All Might, who was also very powerful."
As Mikoto murmured, Kiana overheard, she then stopped her actions and explained:
"As for my mother, she did have a confrontation with All Might when she was young, but at the time, All Might was at his peak, and she had only just started her career three years prior. So, she lost back then.
However, after obtaining the title of Northern Europe's strongest, she claimed that in a fight against All Might at his peak, she had a 50% chance of winning at best, as long as they didn't go all out. Of course, if it were a life-or-death battle, she was confident she could take All Might down first, but she couldn't hold out for long herself."
Although everyone knew Kiana was carefree, it was evident she wasn't lying. She had great confidence in her mother and her abilities.
Fu Hua also chimed in, "It's not entirely unfounded. Kiana's mother, Cecilia Schariac, became the strongest in Northern Europe at the age of 26. Over the years, she's held that position without wavering, constantly improving her strength. All Might's reputation may be loud, but there's no doubt the other side has some ace up their sleeve."
Mikoto nodded in understanding upon hearing this.
However, a new doubt crossed her mind—just how strong was Renault on a global scale at this point?
Mikoto had to admit that she was no longer content with finding opponents for Renault only within their own country. Her vision was now extending beyond national boundaries.
While Mikoto was lost in thought, Kiana felt a surge of pride in her mother. Bronya, however, quietly interjected, "Dinner?"
"Oh, right! Dinner!" Kiana reacted, immediately grabbing Bronya and heading out as if she were holding a doll. "If we don't hurry, we won't get any good food!"
Mikoto watched Kiana's retreating figure and couldn't help but shiver.
The daughter of the strongest hero in Northern Europe, how did she end up with such behavior?

Apart from the first day of school, the new students' academic lives proceeded relatively smoothly.
The students in the hero department's two classes had a somewhat tougher time, with a heavy load of physical training and various academic subjects.
Moreover, after starting classes, Kiana, who called herself a genius, revealed an issue—she was terrible at studying.
Although her spoken Japanese seemed fine and she could communicate smoothly, she struggled with the academic subjects. On average, she'd doze off during one out of every three classes.
After the hero history class on Thursday, Kiana was leaning on her desk, looking disappointed. "I can't take it anymore. Why is there so much content in these academic classes?"
"Is it really a lot? It's not too bad." Mikoto, sitting in front of Kiana, turned around and said, "Compared to middle school in Japan, it's about the same."
"Is middle school in Japan really this intense?" Kiana widened her eyes, asking incredulously.
"I actually find it much easier than when I was in China." Fu Hua added.
The quiet girl Bronya picked up her phone and started playing a game while muttering, "Slacker."
Though she didn't speak much, Bronya's words hit Kiana hard, and her expression worsened.
Soon, the break was over, and the second afternoon class began.
Theresa, still dressed in a nun's outfit, entered the classroom. She immediately noticed Kiana lying motionless on her desk, but surprisingly didn't reprimand her. She addressed everyone and said, "I believe you've had a few days to gradually adapt to U.A.'s curriculum. While your goal is to become Pro Heroes, you cannot neglect your academic education."
After a brief pause and when everyone's attention was focused on her, Theresa continued, "Today, it's time to begin another core course—practical training class."
Kiana perked up immediately, excited that it was finally her turn to shine.
"Practical training class was initially supposed to have a dedicated teacher, but he's currently on a mission abroad. As a result, the school has arranged another outstanding teacher for you, someone you've already met. Now, let's get formally acquainted."
With those words, the classroom door swung open, and Renault walked in confidently, leaving everyone in shock.
