After the meeting, Renault and Hado returned to the office.

Even though they had an operation to attend the next day, they needed to take care of office matters in these two days.

While dealing with office affairs, Hado remarked, "Renault, I didn't expect Shocker's base to be so huge."

"Mhm, I won't be going to school these two days. Since I have time at noon, I can go home and cook. It's also a good opportunity to make something delicious for Yuriko and Mikumo. Mikumo is still learning to cook, but it takes time."

"You sure know how to choose." Renault stood up, checking the time. "It's 10:30 now. These dishes aren't complicated. Should we eat at home, or should I bring it over after preparing?"

"Let's—" Hado was about to say 'eat at home' but immediately changed her mind. "Bring it over! Renault, you should come and eat with me!"

"Don't worry, leave it to me!" Encouraged by the prospect of cooking, Hado tackled her work with renewed enthusiasm, taking it very seriously.

Meanwhile, Renault left the office and headed to a nearby supermarket, making a phone call home along the way.

After about fifteen minutes, Renault returned home with two bags of groceries.

Yuriko was still at her bookstore, and although she saw Renault, she didn't return with him. Only Mikumo was there to welcome him.

"Give me the stuff."

Standing at the doorway, Mikumo took the groceries from Renault's hands and carried them into the kitchen.

Entering the kitchen, Renault saw Mikumo inspecting the groceries.

"Eggs... flour... and many different vegetables. Are we making tempura?"

Renault nodded, embracing Mikumo from behind, and said with a smile, "Since you've also learned tempura, how about reporting your progress to me?"

"Sure, but I've only learned about fried vegetables. Shrimp and others, I'm still not very good at controlling the heat." Mikumo said confidently.

"No problem. Cook what you're good at. Later, I'll see if Nejire can tell the difference."

Next, the two of them worked together in the kitchen.

Although Renault was still a student, he was genuinely busy, so Mikumo cherished the time they spent together in the kitchen. A smile never left her face.

In less than an hour, with the concerted effort of the two, lunch was ready. Yuriko, timing her return perfectly, walked in just as the food was ready.

Originally, Renault wanted to spend some time with the two, but in the end, they kicked him out.

No choice, Renault had to return to the office.

In the office, there was a designated dining area for everyone to use. He had initially planned to eat in his office upon returning, but Hado brought him here.

It happened to be lunchtime, and many colleagues were either bringing their own lunch or having takeout.

As Renault opened the food boxes, a burst of fragrance filled the air.

"Oh! Hamburg steak and tempura, just by looks and smell, I can tell they must be delicious!"

"Renault-kun! Did you make these?"

Facing the inquiries from his colleagues, Renault affirmed. "Yeah, I just made them after getting back home."

"Wow! That's impressive!"

The office staff were older than Renault, but when it came to cooking, there were very few who could do it well.

Hado noticed the curious glances and immediately protected the food, loudly declaring, "Don't even think about it! These were made by Renault for me, no share for you guys!"

Seeing Hado guarding the food, everyone turned their gaze to Renault.

After five minutes of lightning warfare, suppression was completed, and no information leaked.
