After glancing at the information on his phone, Renault kept the message to himself, quickly deleted it, and rushed into the Shocker base with his teammates.

However, during the battle, his mind was elsewhere.

'I wonder if Nighteye's information is accurate or not.'

Pondering this, Renault threw a punch, sending two Shocker Combatmen with weapons flying, all the while keeping an eye on his teammates.

Shocker base had more than one entrance, and Nighteye had assigned all Pro Heroes into separate teams.

In Renault's team were Hado Nejire, Kamui Woods, and Mirko.

Though the team consisted of only four members, their strength was more than sufficient.

As they progressed, they quickly descended underground and found themselves in a series of similar tunnels.

Simultaneously, Shocker members appeared ahead and to the right—not just Shocker Combatmen but also numerous Kaijins.

Seeing this, Renault instantly said, "Don't mind the sides, push forward directly. I'll cover the rear."

With that, Hado moved to the front, hands raised, unleashing bursts of energy waves to disrupt the villains' formation. Mirko and Kamui Woods followed, suppressing the villains.

In the rear, Renault faced the Kaijin pursuing from the right without much effort. With his reflection, he could easily fend off these villains.

Meanwhile, he listened to the communication in his wireless earpiece, noticing that their team had the highest number of villains.

After pushing the last Kaijin at the back against the wall and absorbing him with the black hole, Renault saw more villains approaching from behind.

'Of course, there are cameras where we can't see. Are they targeting me?'

Maintaining composure, Renault continued guarding the team's rear and advancing.

Ten minutes later, the situation everywhere was favorable. However, his team encountered a powerful villain.

*BANG!*

A lightning-fast whip knocked back Kamui Woods and Mirko. Wearing a black robe with a red and white combat suit, a towering figure with a snake-headed hood stood in their way.

Seeing this figure, Renault immediately recognized him.

"Ambassador Hell..."

Hado, hearing Renault's words, looked surprised at Ambassador Hell. "This is Ambassador Hell? Isn't he a Kaijin?"

After defeating the villains behind them, Renault joined the team and faced Ambassador Hell, who led the Kaijin group.

"He's a Kaijin too. Be careful." Renault replied.

Looking at the four of them, Ambassador Hell expressed confidence. "I didn't expect you to dare invade our base so quickly. Unfortunately for you, we've been fully prepared in our own base. Today, all of you will die here! Attack!"

At the command, a dozen Kaijins with diverse forms behind Ambassador Hell all rushed forward.

Ambassador Hell, pulling up his long robe, instantly transformed. His human head turned into a giant snakehead, with two sharp fangs exposed and a continuous flow of toxic green light, clearly indicating a poisonous presence.

Facing the swarming Kaijins, Kamui Woods quickly moved forward, extending numerous tough branches from his hands to interfere with the Kaijins' charge.

Hado went mid-air, continuously attacking with energy waves.

Just then, an unexpected figure arrived behind Kamui Woods. Claws on their hands instantly lengthened, stabbing towards his waist.

Kamui Woods was alert, sensing something was off in an instant. However, due to the many villains in front of him, he couldn't react in time.

In the final second, a hand grabbed the claws about to hit Kamui Woods, and a foot kicked the assailant away.

The tall figure fell to the ground but immediately bounced back up, growing in size, and transforming into a grotesque rabbit Kaijin.

Hado turned around and exclaimed in shock. "Is that... Mirko?"

Ranked fifth on the bulletin board, Rabbit Hero Mirko had unexpectedly transformed into a Kaijin and aggressively charged towards her teammates.

'Fuck.' Renault cursed inwardly. Seeing Mirko's behavior, he confirmed the earlier hint Nighteye gave him.

Yes, Nighteye's information was about Mirko.

Half a month ago, Mirko had a brief encounter with a small Shocker's force during a mission, defeating them but sustaining minor injuries. After that, she had several secretive nighttime outings.

Nighteye had only learned this information this morning but wasn't sure about the potential threat. Hence, he assigned Mirko to Renault's team and warned him to keep an eye on her actions.

Now, it seemed Mirko had made a mistake or fallen victim to something after that injury and was manipulated by Shocker.

As he thought like that, Renault looked towards Ambassador Hell and said to Kamui Woods, "Take care of Mirko, control her, make her lose combat capability. Can you handle it?"

"I got it!"

Kamui Woods nodded his wooden head, stepping out of the frontline and charging towards the Kaijin Mirko.

"Ambassador Hell, it seems you're behind all this mischief."

Watching the seemingly victorious Ambassador Hell, Renault spoke up.

"Hmph, but it's still not enough." Ambassador Hell snorted, swinging the whip in his right hand, rushing towards Renault. "But it doesn't matter. Even if the ambush fails, we'll overwhelm you with numerical superiority."

"With just you fellows?"

Renault scoffed and a Phoenix bottle appeared in his hand. Flames covered his entire body, unaffected by the venom on Ambassador Hell's whip, and he directly clashed.

"Have you forgotten how many trump cards I have?"

As Renault spoke with calmness, his burning left hand grabbed the whip, while his right hand, in a knife-hand motion, severed the whip. Simultaneously, black wings formed behind him, blocking all the villains and preventing Hado and Kamui Woods from being surrounded.
