Chapter 68: Vacation End

"Master, you always act so recklessly..." Rita carefully wiped the wound on Li Yexing's foot by the bedside.

"Indeed... We should not have let that woman live and let her stay on the ship." Lilith, sitting next to them, spoke expressionlessly, her words sounding very dangerous.

"Ahh... It hurts, Rita, be gentle..." Li Yexing lay on the bed, his head resting on Lilith's white stockings thigh, and his feet on Rita's black stockings thigh.

In the original "Resident Evil" game, no matter how low your health bar was, spraying it would instantly heal you to full health. Its healing effects were simply miraculous.

Li Yexing had even tried to buy some of it since he came here, but one can cost five thousand dollars, and... to be honest, its effects were not as good as in the game. "I speak to people according to their status and character. It's my code of conduct," Avery replied.

"Forget it, I understand. We just don't see eye to eye," Li Yexing said, waving his hand. "What about Little Yellow Flower? She doesn't seem to be hurt."

"Little Miss is fine. You don't have to worry about her," Avery said, seemingly trying to cover up his slip of the tongue. "Is there anything else you need? Although I'm reluctant, I'll try to fulfill it for you."

"Oh, right..." Li Yexing suddenly remembered something. "Do you have any idea who those attackers were last night? Honestly, they smelled like they were from the same group, but... they were terrible at fighting. They were even worse than third-rate fighters like me."

Did the infamous Roples Mad Dog really consider himself a third-rate fighter?
Avery couldn't help but find it funny.

"Miss is right, Master always acts recklessly and doesn't take care of yourself. Until you are fully healed, you shouldn't go anywhere. Miss and I will help you solve all of your problems," Rita chimed in.

"Fine…" Li Yexing sighed and rubbed his head against Lilith's white stockings thigh. "If this had been before, I would have fought even if I got shot. I'd do whatever it took. But now, with a family to support, even a little blister on my foot becomes a big problem... Is this the headache that comes with dragging a family around?"

Looking up at the ceiling, Li Yexing had a happy look on his face, as if he was trying to show off.

Two days later, Li Yexing's foot injury had mostly healed, and he set off on his journey home with the two girls. Before leaving, Avery transferred nine million dollars to him as payment for saving Helen twice.

"Don't think it's too little. The Lorena Family is in turmoil right now, and every penny has to be spent wisely," Avery told him.
