[WDIDWAMGB] Chapter 103: Versus the Lizard

Li Yexing was waiting for his chance. Before the opportunity arrived, he had to buy enough time for Kanan to take care of what she needed to do. His own task was to wait as long as possible for the moment when the monster opened its mouth.

When the large lizard dashed out of the corridor, it looked at the lone Li Yexing and the zombies wriggling on the ground, slightly surprised.

As the muscles were exposed, the monster's body grew by a circle out of nowhere. The shell on its tail even directly fell off, turning into a huge red flesh whip. Bones grew out of the tail, piercing through the skin and flesh, making its tail look like a giant mace.

Without any sound, the monster charged straight at Li Yexing again.

Li Yexing tried to use his old trick to avoid the monster's attack by dodging, but just as he dodged, the monster suddenly stopped and, taking advantage of its momentum, turned around in an extremely unnatural posture, lashing its tail directly at him.

Instantly, bullets hit the chandelier and the dome, creating sparks and flying debris. Under the continuous fire, the dome finally couldn't bear the weight and made a soft noise. Then, with a crash, the huge chandelier fell and hit the back of the large lizard in the hall hard. The spikes under the chandelier carried a huge weight and pierced into the fragile muscles between the broken armor, causing the monster to scream in pain.

"This is what we've been waiting for! Die!" Li Yexing shouted, enduring the pain and standing up. He grabbed the last hand grenade from his waist, pulled the pin, and threw it directly into the monster's mouth, then rolled over and lay down.

The monster sensed that an unknown object has been thrown into its mouth. It instinctively closed its mouth, and in the next second, accompanied by a loud bang, the hand grenade exploded inside the monster's mouth, right next to the parasite that was stuck in its throat.

The monster let out a cry of despair, its mouth wide open, as the parasite in its throat continued to spew out the yellow and red liquid. Then it quickly withered away.

Sitting up, Li Yexing looked at the corpse of the big lizard in front of him. After confirming that it was completely dead, he looked at the zombies on the other side of the hall. Some were pinned down by other zombies and corpses, unable to move, while others were so rotten that they couldn't move at all, their mouths opening and closing towards him like fish stranded on the shore.
