[WDIDWAMGB] Chapter 119: Lilith's Dilemma

Li Yexing sat in the spacious transport helicopter and looked out the window as the helicopter gradually flew out of the large hole.

"Sir, you don't have to worry about the Miss..." A hoarse and twisted voice came from the cockpit. "Miss is invincible. With just Wesker alone, it's impossible to compete with her."

"Invincible?" Li Yexing was slightly surprised, then a smile crossed his lips. Based on his understanding of the "Resident Evil" series, Alexandra was most likely a T-Veronica virus carrier, and probably the kind that had been frozen in a refrigerator for fifteen years and had already mastered her powers. However, no matter how strong she was, she was basically just that. Her ability to burn upon contact with air was impressive, but calling it invincibility was a bit far-fetched.

Just as Li Yexing was thinking this, a golden light suddenly flashed by the abandoned mine where he had left. Then, accompanied by a roar and the shaking of the air, a huge pillar of fire shot up into the sky from the abandoned mine, like a volcano erupting.

"Holy shit!" Li Yexing was so scared he almost fell off his chair. Looking at the abandoned mine erupting with fire, he exclaimed, "What the hell is that?!"

"I told you, no one can resist Miss's invincibility, not even Wesker," the hoarse and twisted voice came again.

Li Yexing swallowed hard. He suddenly became curious about what or who was flying the helicopter ahead of him, but considering the pillar of fire just now, he thought it might be better to rein in his curiosity.

Turning his head and looking at Kanan sleeping peacefully in the chair, a tinge of sadness crossed Li Yexing's face. He would probably have to face Tricell when he got back, but how could he explain it?

Should he just take Kanan and forcefully escape without taking the money?

But that would mean that Lilith and Rita would have come along for nothing.

"What a headache..." Li Yexing knocked on his head with a frustrated expression.

The rain gradually stopped, and the dark clouds dispersed, revealing the bright moonlight. In the ravine illuminated by the moonlight, the battle was drawing to a close.

The Undertaker unit had all been killed, their limbs and arms mixed with scattered bullet casings, casually discarded among the crevices.

Blood mixed with rainwater stained the entire muddy road, and the instigator of it all, Rita Griffith, sat on the truck carriage, holding a scythe, with her legs wrapped in tattered black stockings dangling off the side. The rain washed away the bloodstains on her skin but couldn't clean her maid outfit riddled with bullet holes. At this moment, she wore an elegant and charming smile, quietly waiting for the outcome of the battle on the other side.

"I mean, can't those two dwarfs finish it quickly? I'm freezing to death..." Irving, leaning against the truck next to Rita, complained impatiently. Hearing Irving's complaint, Rita smiled and lightly kicked Irving's head with her high-heeled foot. With a sharp pain in his neck, Irving immediately screamed like a pig.

Leon leaned against the front of the truck and said nothing. He stared with his blue eyes, his gun casually slung around his waist, and like Rita, he quietly watched the battle ahead.

On that muddy and bloody ground, Lilith, with a bruised face and bloodstains on her face, rode on T-Lillian's body, punching her sister repeatedly.

T-Lillian tried to defend herself with both hands but Lilith's fists were getting heavier and heavier. Finally, with the sound of bones breaking, T-Lillian moaned in pain and instinctively let go of her hands. However, this momentary relaxation was enough for Lilith to mercilessly send her fist to her face.

With Lilith's heavy punch, the eyepatch protecting T-Lillian's left eye slipped off.

Looking at T-Lillian's left eye, Lilith froze.

Underneath the eyepatch was a piece of skinless flesh, with skin stapled crudely to connect the flesh and the skin like the nails of a row of staplers. In the blurry flesh, there was a murky eyeball.

T-Lillian, who had lost her eyepatch, also froze. She stared blankly at Lilith and then suddenly screamed, covering her face with her arms that had been broken. She cried out loud, "Don't look! Don't look at T-Lillian like this!"

As T-Lillian cried out, Lilith suddenly felt a pang of pain in her heart, as if it had been squeezed. The girl who called herself her sister was, like herself, a monster, a weapon. But Lilith had met Yexing and had the good fortune to live in his house, eat his cooking, play games, watch movies in his embrace, and fall asleep together with him. But what about T-Lillian?

Perhaps it was only because she had found happiness that she began to think about unhappiness. Lilith didn't want to remember the days in the research institute, which were like hell. Now she had escaped from that hell, but this girl was still trapped inside.

Just as Lilith hesitated, T-Lillian, who was lying under her, suddenly spit out a mouthful of blood, which splattered on Lilith's clothes. With a burst of unexpected strength, T-Lillian pushed Lilith off and staggered to her feet, holding her head while she stumbled backward and then crying out, "Don't... don't look at me."

As the girl cried out in pain, red and yellow liquid suddenly sprayed from her back, and several small tentacles pierced her flesh and emerged from her back.

"Don't look! Don't look at T-Lillian like this, big sister!" The girl covered her face and cried out again as she continued staggered backward further. Lilith hesitated whether to take advantage of the opportunity to kill her, but even she didn't realize that her usually expressionless face was struggling.

"Captain! Captain! Your emotions are unstable! The bugs are coming out! Follow the plan and retreat!" T-Lillian cried out as a man's voice came through the communication device in her ear.

"No! I can't leave! I finally... finally saw big sister... but now she sees me like this..." T-Lillian continued to cry out as if she had lost her mind. Then the man's voice came through the communication device: "This is your father's order!"

"Father... it's father's..." The girl paused for a moment and then gritted her teeth. "Yes, it's father's order. T-Lillian has to retreat... has to retreat..."

T-Lillian gritted her teeth and endured the intense pain in her body as she struggled to draw a grappling gun from her waist. After securing the gun in her hand, she aimed it toward the top of the crevice and pulled the trigger with a pained expression.

With a whooshing sound, the grappling gun launched and the hook of the cable shot out, lodging itself in the edge of the crevice. T-Lillian's body trembled with pain as she covered her face and turned to Lilith, revealing a smile that seemed on the verge of tears. "Th-then, my dear sister... please make sure to come back home with T-Lillian next time..."

As the sound of the grappling gun faded away, T-Lillian soared into the air and disappeared from view...
