[MHCISQD] Chapter 166: Provisional Hero License Exam Day

After returning to his room, Renault sat on his bed with a gloomy expression.

'Why did I teleport so far and end up in Yaoyorozu's room?'

Soon, he realized that the dormitory was split into two buildings for male and female students, and her room was directly opposite his, on the female side. It was just by chance that he had stepped into her room through the black hole and even witnessed her changing.

As he thought about what he had seen, he couldn't help but recall the stunning scene he had witnessed.

"No, no, no!" Renault shook his head frantically, trying to shake off the images from his mind. He picked up his phone and after thinking for a while, sent an apologetic message.

But even after waiting for a while, there was still no reply from Yaoyorozu.

He waited and waited, but eventually gave up and went to sleep without any further training.

The next day, he realized there was an unread message on his phone sent around noon. It read, "Let's forget what happened yesterday. You can't tell anyone about it. That's all."

Although it seemed like Yaoyorozu had forgiven him, he could still sense her anger between the lines. When he saw her in person later that day, he knew for sure that his guess was correct. However, he didn't plan on explaining or apologizing again, for fear of making her even more upset.

As it turned out, Class A witnessed a very strange scene between the two.

Renault and Yaoyorozu, who usually had a good relationship, didn't communicate with each other all day long. Even on the day when they were selected to cook together, they didn't talk at all.

A few girls secretly asked Yaoyorozu if something had happened, but she calmly shook her head and said that nothing had happened. This only made people more curious.

In fact, in the following days, Yaoyorozu wasn't really angry with Renault anymore, but as a girl who felt disadvantaged in this situation, she didn't know how to break the ice and could only focus on training.

Renault, on the other hand, thought that she was still angry with him. Although he wanted to take the initiative to ease the relationship, he couldn't find the opportunity to do so. He also noticed that those girls, especially Ashido and Hagakure, were paying attention to him. Even though Hagakure was invisible, he somehow sensed that she was observing him, which he found strange.

Although he was currently dating Mikoto, he still had a long way to go in understanding girls' thoughts.

So the days went by, and he continued to train while struggling with his thoughts.

Finally, a week passed, and it was time for the Provisional Hero License Exam.

Early in the morning, all of Class A dressed in their school uniforms and carrying their respective hero costume suitcases, arrived at the venue for the provisional hero license exam, Takoba National Stadium.

Seeing the groups of students from various schools and individuals who had come to participate, many of Class A's students became nervous.

"There are so many people here..."

"I'm getting nervous."

After nearly two weeks of tight training, Mineta was still very nervous, unable to stand still and swaying from side to side. "What exactly is this exam for? Can we really get our provisional hero license?"

Hearing his words, Aizawa immediately replied, "Mineta, it's not a matter of whether you can or cannot, you must get it!"

"Well, of course..."

But there was no confidence in his words at all...

Aizawa sighed helplessly.

However, Mineta was the type of person who could unleash his potential when forced to the limit, as demonstrated in the previous exams. It all depended on whether he could withstand the stress this time.

Thinking of this, Aizawa looked at all of Class A and said, "If you can pass this exam and get your provisional hero license, you young fledglings will become half Pro Heroes. So, work hard."

"Fine, let's become those whatever fledglings!"

"Let's shout together like we always do! One, Two, Plus!-"

"Ultra!!!"

Suddenly, a voice that was no less than that of Class A surprised everyone.

Renault, who was chewing gum and listening to music leaning against the bus, looked at the tall male student who suddenly joined in the shouting, and was somewhat surprised by his uniform.

*Pop!*

Blowing a bubble, Renault said indifferently, "I didn't expect to see you people so soon, from Shiketsu High in the west district."

"What?"

"This uniform..."

"Indeed, it's from Shiketsu High."

If U.A. High School is considered the most famous school for training heroes in the East, then naturally Shiketsu High School is the equivalent in the West. Apart from its strong background, it can be said to be on par with U.A.

After the boy who was recognized spoke up, another purple-haired boy who was also a student at Shiketsu High School said, "It's not good to interrupt and cheer on the formations of other schools without permission, Inasa."

Inasa, who was called out, quickly realized his mistake and apologized, "I'm really sorry!"

Then, in front of everyone, he placed his hands on the sides of his pants and bowed deeply, banging his head hard on the ground with great force.

The others were all frightened by his behavior, but there were a few who remained calm, including Renault, Bakugo, and Todoroki.

Bakugo didn't seem surprised at all, only looking for opponents worthy of his attention, while Todoroki always maintained his icy demeanor, especially when faced with students from other schools, and from rival schools at that.

Chewing gum on one side, Renault carefully observed the Shiketsu students and noticed that their posture was very uniform, which should have been a habit developed through military-style training.

'It seems they have some potential,' Renault thought to himself.

But that was all.

Renault, who had already completed his training program, now just wanted to start the exam and test his results.
