With the morning birdsong in the background, Li Yexing, who had just finished morning exercises with Lilith and Rita, dressed in loose pajamas and slippers, gently pushed open the door and saw Kanan sitting on his boss chair, legs crossed on the desk, smoking and exhaling.

"What's for breakfast?" she asked absentmindedly.

"You can go out and grab something," Li Yexing replied without looking up from the screen. "Rita is still resting, and there's no one to cook breakfast today."

"Still resting, huh?" Kanan exhaled a puff of smoke and then turned her head to raise an eyebrow. "By the way, Boss, don't you think your daily night activity is a bit too loud?"

Li Yexing's fingers, which were tapping on the keyboard, suddenly stopped.

Seeing his lack of response, Kanan couldn't help but complain, "I have never seen a man like you who engages in debauchery almost six out of seven days a week. Lilith is fine, but your maid's voice is too loud, like a screeching banshee..."

"Okay, Master." Rita slightly bowed and patted Lilith's arm around her waist before saying, "Go to Master, Miss. Rita has to prepare breakfast."

So Lilith let go of Rita, bounced over, and sat on Li Yexing's lap, leaning against him. Feeling the touch and warmth from her thigh, he hugged her waist with one hand while sliding the mouse with the other.

It has been a month since the operation in Malvia, South Africa. After the small gathering in the base's yard that night, Li Yexing left Malvia with Lilith, Rita, and the new member Kanan, hitching a ride with Leon before parting ways in Somalia.

"Li, you're a good guy. I believe we'll meet again..." Leon patted Li Yexing's shoulder and smiled. Then, he leaned in close to Li Yexing's ear and whispered, "Remember to get a medical checkup! You have to go get checked!"

After that, Leon left with the US government's helicopter.

Next, Li Yexing contacted Argo, and he quickly arranged the trip for everyone. After about a week, he finally brought everyone back to Roples.
