Li Yexing followed Rita to the pick-up counter.

On the other side of the counter was an old man who looked very energetic. He spoke a few words of Japanese to him with a smile, while she responded with a few words and a smile.

Li Yexing carefully picked up the tray, while she seemed much more relaxed. The two of them returned to their seats and placed the tray on the table.

"Wow..." Lilith whispered in admiration as she looked at the ramen in the tray. The soup looked very thick, and a bundle of noodles protruded from the rich broth. Alongside the noodles were seaweed, two thick slices of beef, green onions, and half a boiled egg.

Picking up the chopsticks, Rita put her hands together and said in Japanese, "Itadakimasu..." Then she gracefully picked up the noodles with her chopsticks and put them in her mouth.

The others didn't pay as much attention to etiquette and just started eating. Although Lilith didn't look fierce while eating, she strangely ate very quickly. Kanan wasn't good at using chopsticks, so she stirred the noodles into a ball in the broth and put them in her mouth. Li Yexing looked at the ramen in front of him, picked up his chopsticks, blew on them, and then put them in his mouth to savor.

"How is it?" Rita asked.

Lilith didn't say anything, she just opened her mouth slightly, and after a while, she let out a burp.

"That's good..." Li Yexing turned his head and said, "Call a taxi, let's go back."

"Hey! Don't you even ask if I'm full or not?" Kanan frowned and said, "We're all females living under the same roof. Why do you treat your wife and your employee so differently?"

"What kind of girl are you?" Li Yexing looked at Kanan and said, "I've never seen a girl who rides a motorcycle, races, and shoots guns on the African savannah."

They hailed a taxi outside the commercial street, with Rita sitting in the front passenger seat, and Li Yexing, Lilith, and Kanan squeezed into the back seat. Lilith leaned lightly against his chest and rubbed against him. He smiled and reached out to touch her little head. Turning his head, he saw Kanan sitting silently beside him, her elbow resting on the car door, her expressionless face propped up by her chin, looking at the lights outside the car window, seeming to be in a low mood, and who knows what she was thinking.

Li Yexing thought for a moment, leaned in, and whispered, "Are you angry?"

"Ahh!" Startled by him, Kanan shuddered and turned slightly displeased towards him, "Boss, are you trying to scare me to death?"

Looking at Rita sitting in the front seat, who seemed to be distracted, Li Yexing whispered, "Don't mind too much, Rita is a bit mischievous like Lilith sometimes."

"Lilith is not mischievous..." Lilith in his arms suddenly whispered, "Lilith is just airheaded..."

"Okay, you are airheaded." Li Yexing rubbed Lilith's head hard and smiled.

Kanan silently watched the interaction between Li Yexing and Lilith, with a hint of inexplicable emotion flashing in her eyes.

After rubbing Lilith, Li Yexing looked up at Kanan and said, "Anyway, don't take it too seriously. Actually, everyone likes you very much."

"What about you?" Kanan suddenly asked.

"Me?" Li Yexing smiled and whispered, "Of course, I like you. Why else would I hire you?"

Looking into his eyes for a few seconds, Kanan seemed to concede, shaking her head and saying, "What am I even saying..."

In the front passenger seat, Rita's lips curved into a smug smile.
