Saturday morning.

Mikoto woke up from her sleep, and Renault was already up long ago.

"What time is it...?"

She grabbed the alarm clock from the bedside and checked, realizing it was already eight-thirty. She no longer felt sleepy and quickly got out of bed. They had planned to go out and have fun for the day. She didn't want to waste any more time by staying in bed.

She opened the wardrobe and picked out the clothes she would wear today from the half that Renault had already occupied. She changed quickly and went to freshen up.

After finishing everything, she went downstairs and found that Yuriko was already awake. In the kitchen, Renault had just finished making breakfast.

After having breakfast, the two of them left the house, leaving Yuriko behind. That girl didn't like going out at all and had become quite a shut-in recently.

Instead of riding bikes, the two of them held hands and walked toward the train station.

"Where are we planning to go today? I asked you last night, but you couldn't decide. You were pondering during breakfast. Just pick a place you want to go, isn't that enough?" Renault asked.

"Hmm~" Mikoto furrowed her brows and replied, "To be honest, I don't have a specific place in mind. I always think about where I want to go when I have a day off, but when the day comes, I don't have much thought about it. Senpai, do you have any place you want to go?"

"Me? It's even less likely," Renault shrugged and said, "I've been all over Tokyo during my off-campus work study. I've explored most of the lively areas around here. How about we start by relaxing at an arcade, and you can think about where you want to go in the meantime?"

"Sounds good. Let's go to Akihabara then. It's convenient to move to other places from there," Mikoto said with a smile.

Akihabara was one of the places she wanted to visit the most, but since she often went there on normal days, it was ranked lower on her list. However, it was still the most comfortable place for her.

Soon, the two of them arrived in Akihabara and played at the arcade for a while.

After having lunch at a restaurant, the two of them had nothing else to do.

They had thought about watching a movie, but there weren't any good ones currently. They didn't like art films, and although Renault didn't mind romantic movies, Mikoto didn't like them. According to her, it would be better to go to the arcade and play a few games.

After discussing it, the two of them had no choice but to continue wandering the streets and window shopping. Luckily, the weather was gradually becoming cooler, or else it would have been unbearable.

After passing through the area beyond the electronics street, the two of them still hadn't decided on a destination. They randomly picked a direction and strolled leisurely.

As they walked, they casually chatted with each other, thinking that it was quite enjoyable. They planned to keep moving forward and see if there were any interesting places to stop by.

"Hmm, I'm getting a bit tired. Is there a convenience store nearby? I feel like having an ice cream. What do you think, Senpai?" Mikoto asked after about 20 minutes, looking around.

"I'm fine with having ice cream, but it seems like there's no convenience store around here." Renault glanced around at the residential area and asked her to check the map on her phone.

"It's about 500 meters ahead. Let's keep going. Ice cream!" Mikoto's excitement rose at the thought of enjoying ice cream in the summer heat.

He just smiled. With their well-trained bodies, as long as they didn't overeat, it wouldn't be a problem.

However, as they walked out of the residential area and passed by an open-air park, they heard a conversation and immediately stopped in their tracks.

"I can't accept it, Gentle!"

"What's wrong?"

"It's because the videos from J Store didn't get many views. Society really lacks vision. Gentle is so amazing!"

"Haha, always blaming external factors won't lead to growth, La Brava."

The conversation between the two also caught the attention of Renault and Mikoto. He immediately pulled her closer and looked towards the park. Since there were no other pedestrians at the moment, they wouldn't attract attention.

They saw a middle-aged man with a small mustache, wearing a tailcoat and carrying a cane, and a little girl with twin ponytails, wearing eye shadow and a dress resembling a movie thief. The two people were chatting.

"Who are those two people?" Mikoto looked at them, furrowing her brow. "The man seems familiar; I feel like I've seen him somewhere."

"He often causes trouble online and calls himself Gentle Criminal. The other one should be his sidekick. Though Gentle hasn't committed any serious crimes like murder or arson, he even attempts to expose some companies' misconduct, he has no influence whatsoever. Hardly anyone likes him, not even Pro Heroes or the police bother with him," Renault explained in a hushed voice as he observed the two individuals.

"Oh, so that's Gentle," Mikoto realized. "If he's not worth mentioning, then why do we hide, Senpai?"

"What I said was just based on the assumption from other people's mouths. But now that I've seen him, I have to take a look at what this person wants to do."

Just as Renault spoke, Gentle continued, "But I won't be discouraged, La Brava! Because the next plan will surpass all of these!"

"Really? Tell me quickly, Gentle, what's the next plan?"

"U.A. High School." Gentle mentioned a term that immediately grabbed Renault and Mikoto's attention. "A month from now, U.A. will host the cultural festival. U.A. previously experienced an attack, and the school's security measures have been strengthened. If I manage to infiltrate the school that symbolizes the current state of heroes, it will undoubtedly be a big event!"

After he finished speaking, he burst into laughter, and the little girl beside him applauded.

Secretly, Mikoto looked at Renault with narrowed eyes and asked, "Senpai, what should we do?"

Renault's expression grew serious. "We can't just sit by and watch. Although U.A. has faced some incidents before, it's not a place where just anyone can cause trouble or gain popularity."

Renault, who was getting ready to go out, glanced at Mikoto beside him and suddenly came up with an idea.

He opened the black hole and took out two cloaks, giving one to her, and said, "Let's go together."

Her eyes lit up as she nodded repeatedly, draping the cloak over herself to hide her appearance.

With their preparations complete, the two of them walked out of their hiding spot and approached Gentle and his sidekick directly.

"It seems like you were discussing something interesting just now. Could you tell me more about it?" Renault said, lowering his voice and smiling lightly.

"Who are you?" Before Gentle could speak, his sidekick, the little girl, came forward and stared at the two mysterious figures with her big eyes.

Gentle patted the little girl's shoulder and then looked at the two people, one tall and one short, hiding under their hoods. "Who are you two? Do you have any business with me?"

"We were just passing by and overheard something that piqued my interest. Could you give me more details?" Renault asked.

"Oh?" Gentle's mustache twitched, and he looked at Renault. "Are you... U.A.'s enemy?"

Upon hearing this, Renault extended a hand from under the cloak and wagged a finger, responding, "Nay, I'm not. I just want to know your intentions and stop you from causing trouble, U.A. is not a tool for you to gain fame."
