Thank you for sharing this. I've had a couple of friends in one sided relationships. It usually happens with a narcissist and a people pleaser, the best/worse combination for such a bad consequence.

Man I’m glad you said that my gf broke up with me three years ago and we have a beautiful son Jaco and she dangled the carrot for a few years and me being in love with her wanted so bad to believe her. Well we blocked each other from Facebook due to both of us being passive aggressive here to find out she had a bf for like 3 months of her saying good bye to me open mouth kissing me and me paying her rent and letting her use a vehicle. Broke my heart and my bank account and just my self esteem. Be honest I would have gave her those things just to be nice if she was still honest
